What about Buick Encore GX? It’s less money and the headroom is amazing as I’m taller. Have disabilities. I tried other SUVs listed but cannot afford $600-800 car payments! And not comfortable! Hit my head on the door getting in! Hyundai Tucson for example!

i had the 2021 first edition and now upgraded to the 2023 id.4 Pro S AWD...not sure i could drive anything else at this point...have the tow hitch an tow several different trailers with it as well. Its my work vehicle :)

I've had a loaner 2024 Pro while waiting for my e-Golf to be repaired. I love it so far. The one thing I miss about my Golf is adjusting the regen manually. They should bring that tback for the ID4

It's slow. But a naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine will last you far longer than a turbo-charged one. Still, if you have the option of getting to work by taking side roads or an expressway; take the side roads. What won't last you is that Jatco CVT trans. unless you get it flushed every 20K miles. Doing so, could realistically get you to 100K miles. But be ready to sell it when it comes close to that. The headrests on the SR look Premium. But are not as comfortable due to having solid speakers built into them. Overall, if you want a tall hatchback for not a huge amount of money, this is a good choice. A Crossover? No AWD available. Not even as an option.

I agree with the built quality comments. I drive my 2023 AWD Pro S+ about 65 miles a day and it's much better than my EV6. The overall feel and driving experience is great. I'm glad to see VW make the steady improvements in the power and controls.

Ive beem debating between the kona, equinox, and the id 4 and i was about to get the kona but im somewhat considering the id 4. If anyone has aany opinions on any of those cars id love to hear them out

Hyundai list it as a SUV. It's literally built on the same platform as the Tucson. Maverick is built like a typical truck but the two compete for similar customers.

Those are not compact SUVs

Very over priced for what you get. Ford should return to naturally aspirated motors and less emphasis on tech, return to manual buttons, shifter. The dash iPad is huge, annoying, and a distraction.

Negotiate online first, get all numbers settled before you go to a dealership. We have to get dealers use to this practice. They are called dealers for a reason, they want to talk you into the highest numbers. They want you to sign based on emotion and put you in debt prison. The dealership is the auto mafia’s turf, the internet and cash is our turf.

The issue you’re having with the fan speed and climate etc, you can actually say “hey Volkswagen” and ask the car to turn up fan speed, change the temperature, turn on heated seats, volume, etc!! There’s a ton of different ways to use the infotainment screen. :) -vw sales person

Go with the SEL….. the transmission and wireless CarPlay is above everything else offered on the higher end models. That DCT is hot garbage!

I will say I was second guessing myself on considering a Trax w/o AWD, but I grew up with RWD/FWD and most of my vehicles have been so. That said snow tires can do wonders and I did use them for a couple years, but for the worst winters I've gone through I never had them and did just fine. That said, I'm debating on that yellow color. I kind of like it. I'm hoping to trade-in my '23 Ford by the end of summer and planning on the Trax as I can also use the GM friends and Family plan on my purchase. It doesn't bother me it's not as fast as what I have now; it's as efficient, looks sporty, looks fun to drive, offers good practicality, and is definitely more affordable. The engine sounds rather pleasant in all the videos I've watched too. I sat in one this weekend and found the seating slightly more supportive, if but a touch firm, very adjustable, and my knee isn't sitting against the corner or the lower dash extension for the HVAC.

I'm thinking of buying a st line that's loaded but only has a 1.5 liter engine. Should I change my mind? It's red and cost 35,000. Maybe this engine isn't good

I got ebony midnight metallic st and I love it I have driven about 1300 miles it has plenty of power my mileage is above what they say and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new car in that price range 😊
