I have the Predator 4375 and tried to run the small titanium flux 125 welder on it. It welds but welds horrible.... very spotty not smooth at all and the generator struggles to keep up. Its odd because I bought the predator to replace a cheap old Mastercraft 3500 generator that would run that welder nicely

@rod114827 күн бұрын
I got one of these saws about 10 days ago through Lowe's. Ran into a problem. I have checked all the major retailers, Lowe's, Home Depot, Menards, True Value, Ace Hardware. No retailer stocks a 72 inch blade for this saw. Of course it can be ordered but that doesn’t help if you break a blade. Can’t just go pick one up and your project is delayed for at least several days. Has anyone found a solution to this? Thanks. The window for returning this saw will be closed in a couple of weeks. I prefer to keep it but not if blades are going to be this difficult to find.

There are some specialty wood stores around us here that carry a huge variety. But in most cases most just order extras to keep on hand , just incase. It’s always cheaper to order a couple than to buy at the store anyway.

I was able to complete that gate setup to the entrance of my road without any problem. Question...I need to clean the screen behind the waterway...the piece that slides on to the adapter and you screw down....Well I can NOT for the life of me get it to SLIDE back off ...I took off the screw put some channel locks on the piece and it would not budge or "slide back off" It has been installed by a plumber 10 years ago. Any Ideas on how to slide this piece off or break it loose?
@Grimmeute3 ай бұрын
There is a tiny hole that you need like a needle or paper clip to push up inside to release the plastic clip that locks it in place
@rioraton3 ай бұрын
Thanks for getting back so quick. So I am not sure what you mean. Mine is a kohler 8002 water tile and where is this plastic clip on the water way...that is the piece that slides on to the adapter which is the piece that screws onto the nipple@@Grimmeute
@Grimmeute3 ай бұрын
Oh I thought you were talking about the screen
@Grimmeute3 ай бұрын
Ok you tighten the 2 tiny Alan screws to remove the chrome cover. That moves them out of the way to remove that. Then pull the rubber sprayers off. There is a square plastic that has 2 larger Allen screws, pull those. Then you have 1 Phillips screw holding the brass swivel part, pull straight out after removing the screw that holds that on. It has an o ring so be careful. Then the brass piece that screws on the nipple you just need a ratchet and an extension to put in that center hole to remove.
@rioraton3 ай бұрын

@Grimmeute4 ай бұрын
Unless they changed something since mine, there should be a black cap with 4 holes. A tool came with mine to unscrew that cap. It’s in my video.
@SavedByGrace1020 күн бұрын
Wear a disposable glove and try to get any old grease out with your fingers. Then regrease with a Lithium Base, Moly (Molybdenum Disulfide) or other surface protecting additives, EP (Extreme Pressure), NLGI #2 grease. A high drop point (500°F, 260°C) grease is desirable. Grease the end of each bit that goes into the chuck as well as the top of the drill under the black cap. You can use disk brake caliper grease in a pinch because it high temp grease.

What’s funny is. I was sent to Miami for a job. Didn’t need to bring anything with me on the plane. Been here for 2 years now. There is about 100 Home Depot’s and only seen 2 Lowes which are not even close to the job. So I been forced to buy Milwaukee. Since Dewalt is slim pickings at Home Depot’s. It’s not my money anyway. And to be honest I’ve seen nothing good in the quality in some of the tools. I’ve had several Milwaukee tools that have failed and had to return.

My new beef with HF. I bought a parabolic heater. Got it home and it wasn't wrapped in the box, no packing and COVERED in some kind of sawdust or filth. Plugged it in and it smelled so bad. I return it. She asks me "does it work or not". I said well that's where I have a problem. It looks like it was used. She said "does it work or not? If it works we'll tape it back up and sell it". OH REALLY? I said let me continue. I showed her the picture of the heater and paper towels I used to clean it. She said we'll just call this broken then. So people are using their products, returning it and HF is reselling them as "new" product. That really stings. The rudeness I've encountered twice and now this makes me start to rethink my HF patronage.
@Grimmeute4 ай бұрын
Yeah I have run into that at Home Depot about 6 times this year. The workers are too lazy to check the items when these dip shits buy something, use it for the one project they have and return it. It has been 4 Milwaukee power tools, one Dewalt power tool and a sink that looked like it was their old 20 year old beat to shit sink, and managed to get it in the new sinks box, taped back up real nice then returned it.

Dewalt quality has really gone to hell in the last few years. They first let me down by discontinuing their 36 volt line and not even making batteries for the suckers who got stuck w their product. The cordless reciprocating saws blade clamps always break. The triggers go bad in no time. The final straw was the 7 1/4 circular saw. I bought a set on sale and set the saw to the side since I had a cheaper 6 1/2 that could work for most projects and wanted a nice straight new one for tedious projects. I used it twice and the thing just locked up. I may as well buy harbor freight if my tools are gonna break. It’s a shame because Dewalt used to make really tough affordable tools.
@Grimmeute5 ай бұрын
One of the problems is that they make inferior consumer grade tools for the weekend projectors who don’t want to spend the money on their XR line. But people see Dewalt and think they are all the same tool. I only buy the XR line. This video is over 2 years old and I’m still using the same tools without a problem. I use daily as I’m a contractor. The only thing I go through is batteries, as with any tool. The batteries give out if you are using and charging constantly.
