So question. What lead up to the point of you having to replace it? I’m researching an issue with a sportster I bought that was dropped at low speeds and now doesn’t want to shift in to any gears. I’m yet to open up the primary cover and have a look for myself till I get back in to town.

Fine video. Crankshaft nut is locked with red loctite. Would have taken heat to remove it. Wondering how it shifted after replacement. No adjustment to the pawl needed?

Thanks for the vid. Just wanted to add. - 75ft lb on the clutch pack assembly nut (left hand threads) Be sure to hold the crank nut with another socket or wrench to torque it. I used 29mm for crank and 30mm for clutch.

what is the reason and what was the problem for the need to replace the shifter paw ? what was it doing or not doing ?

My freakin ball of (suk my ass), is doing the exact, i mean EXACT, same thing as urs.

You need to jump start it, place the Sphero on the dock for about 2 or 3 seconds then yank it off do this a few times and charge it for a few hours it should be good

I see that the ear holes are also covered with plastic, has that made any issues at all with hearing ppl on the phone? Like are you able to hear them normally, or is the ear hole volume really low?
