Pirates, too, always considered it an especially good prize if they could kidnap musicians, which would then play whenever ordered to by any member of the crew. If a pirate shop got taken prisoner, the best way to avoid hanging was to prove that you had a musical instrument and could play it--that would show, to the satisfaction of the court, that you weren't on the ship willingly.

One factor the Victorians didn't yet understand was how extremely toxic the lamps in lighthouses were back then. They floated on open pools of mercury, at temperatures high enough to vaporize some of it, causing lighthouse keepers to breathe mercury daily. Lighthouse-keepers had as much of a reputation for madness as hatters, for much the same reason. And when the whole team's poisoned together, with no outside reality checks, you could work up a powerful folie a trois, complete with mutually reinforced shared hallucinations. And yet...that doesn't explain how the boulder moved.

Google "Fairy Census", if you wish to report a fairy sighting of your own, or read the contemporary accounts of others. Studies are still ongoing, just under a different name. And you might also wish to google Fairy and Human Relations Congress", which convenes in the Pacific Northwest, USA, every year in summer. I believe that this year it's in Oregon. Anyway, they have a website that can give you more details.

I love these. And I like the early less produced pods just as well..... there is an intimate sincerity vibe. Nerdy but nice. But these are great too.

When you said they raced across the English channel we'd narrowed it down as either they were racing pigeons or racing...fish.

All these years, I just thought it was a sheet to identify where the ghost is. Since they are invisible, throwing a sheet over the ghosts head, gives it the appearance of having mass, so you know where the ghost is. hmmm....ya learn something new everyday.

Is this a history or true crime channel or just mysteries ? I like the channel title ( the alliteration is memorable) but its not really clear what its focus is. If its purely mysteries i think that needs to be a subtitle under your main title.

The kingdom of God is near... Repent of your sins...... John 3:16-17 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

If Anna is Missourian, any chance that Anna had not gone to just any old woman, but a granny in particular? it might make a bit more sense if the word "granny" is used in the stories, not just "old woman"
