Dude! I still have the original tracks that were recorded on Goliad that Eric gave me. I had them remastered by Rob N Sh¡t “Robs Chop Shop” now.

1970 The Cave, a student club in Heidelberg, Germany - it was the most popular song for dancing, plotting and change....It changed my live and my outlook. We did try to make it real...compared to what? Rest in Peace Les.

Sweet creator and Jesus this is still so relevant today as it was mid 60's. The lyrics alone say it all, so listen up honkies! Save the god damn planet or else!!?? How long does it have to take for people to open their god damn ears and get with the program??? And to all the idiots who want that fascist Chump in our people's house, not a f'n chance, no way, no how. Destroyer of planets that one. Greed and money, call girls and adultery, that;s what you want in a leader? JFC! Rock n roll, jazz and blues, soul and hip-hop united to STOP all this bullsit once and for all. Come on kamala, sock it to us baby, get on the good foot darling, lets save our beautiful Earth before it's to late.

Enjoying it? I’ve been around since this album came out. This is one kick-ass protest song, we could use more than a few of them today! Makin’ it real is. today’s “woke.” The pathetic thing is that not much has changed! Nope, we’re still runnin’ in mud!

Never knew there was a video. In 69 and 70 you'd hear it on the radio - underground stations, pirates flaring up and closing down every few days, rockers, jazz stations pretending to be underground even if they weren't. America as it was being lived was being brushed aside for an America you could fabricate and feed to readers, viewers. The anger we get in this clip was always real enough - all that smirking because McCann was crossing lines, and Benny Bailey is absolutely hilarious (he said in an interview once that he actually hated this kind of music, so who knew he was having such fun?) - but it's validated by a media that told itself "well, somebody has to do it" - so Tonto and the Lone Ranger (Media and the Ivy League) - saddled up and brought us right to marxism, Joe Biden, and the Democrat's looting of the American Promise. When you're 18 though, this music goes through you like a blast of dynamite.
