Acela保證準時,因為美國的東北走廊( North East Corridor)大部份鐵路不是Amtrak興建,所以要向其他鐵路公司租用鐡路使用。因此其他鐵路公司所屬的火車優先使用其自家鐵路,Amtrak屬下的火車因要經常讓路給這些公司的火車,所以會遲到。Amtrtak已經為Acela Express火車買了鐵路優先路權,可讓Acela火車優先通行,保證準時到達。小弟在美國旅遊,買火車票由紐約去波士頓,曾經考慮這問題,因為普通火車誤點率高,所以貴一點都要買Aclela Express。

I have driven at least 9 times from Toronto to Niagara Falls every time when visitors arriving from abroad. I can free myself on the steering wheel on the 403 with my eyes close !!

Good alternative for people who has no car or solo travelers. Save parking fee if staying overnight too. Would love to see a video for riding up to Ottawa.
