Amazing talk, I love how Gelman is so brilliant but so constantly distracted by his own ideas and thoughts. True genius at work.

Tip #4 about content products is a great one. It's easy to get tunnel vision and only think about blog posts when it comes to content marketing but the reality is they're just one part of a cohesive strategy. Platform native content, documentation, technical guides/tutorials, thought leadership, and content products all combine to create an effective content strategy.

This is such a well put together video but only has 8k views, tells you a lot about the world we live in, no wonder there are so many data jobs and not enough people to fill them, leading to extremely competitive salaries! If you're watching this keep going 👍

The fact that this video is 5 years old and still doesn't have any dislike, speaks volumes for the quality of the presentation. This comment was written on 30 April 2021.

What about .NET framework integration, when you build UI app utilizing ML from Jula. In similar use case using python ML, I used web api access , so on python side Flask web api server, and on .net web api client.

This is an awesome talk. So many more reasons to never leave R. BTW, I worked for one of the huge pharmacy chains and learned, after we spent a bunch of money on mouse pads with commonly needed phone numbers, that they do not allow the techs in the pharmacy to use their mouse. A time study pointed to saving so many minutes wasted each day taking hands away from the keyboard that they banned use of the mouse. We ended up pinning the mouse pads to the wall. If they only used R back there :) Again, so much useful, and fun, information - Thanks!

Who invented notebooks firstly R community or Python community?
@BlueQualityRhythm4 жыл бұрын
The notebook format is independent of the language it uses. For example, the jupyter notebook is widely used with Python, but it can Run R too. The R-markdown-notebook however can run both languages in the same notebook, which is an advantage.
@questscape3 жыл бұрын
@@BlueQualityRhythm You can run different languages in Jupyter Notebooks too.
