The landscape changes with the seasons. My grandfather used to work on the railroad in the US. During WWII he used to drive a train up and down the west coast bringing men and supplies to their point of embarkation. They could only go at night and with no lights on in cast there were Japanese submarines looking for them.

Det må da give flimmer i benene, som erhvervsskade. 😹 hehe, det minder mig om, den video, som Kenny Film har lagt op om "Besøg hos Train Gamia", hvor han og Ankita køre modeltog i virkeligheden og ikke simulator. Kenny er jo loko føre hos DSB og han sad også og ledte efter dødmandspedalen, da han kørte modelbanen. Du kunne jo gå ind og se afsnittet på hans kanal her på YT. Så kommer Du og familien til København så tag ud på Amager, på Lergravsvej 57, Sundby Øster. Husk, måske, skal I booke tid inden, da der i kælderen godt kan være trængsel, tlf er 5520 0480 med 45 foran hvis Du ringer fra Norge. 39 23 vinkevinke😺

Hei RCG og Alle Jer Andre 😻 Her forleden sad jeg og stod og så en video fra Miniatur Wunderland og der var sørme en bane strækning fra Bergens banen i den Skandinaviske model del, dog kunne jeg ikke lige genkende stedet, men den var god nok. Dog var jeg så uheldig, da der så dukkede flere "hit" op om udstillingen, så jeg kunne ikke finde tilbage, men jeg mener ikke, at det var et af MW´s egen producerede videoer, da der også var et hav af private optagelser. Nå men, man må da for pokker, på en eller anden måde, hvis en af Jer har teknisk snilde ud i KZfaq, kunde præcis finde det klip, ik, I er så dygtige. Jeg vil tivertifald ønske for Jer fans af Bergensbanen, inklusiv Dig, Kirstine, at I får hittet det frem. Men I kan jo også bare tage den lange vej og se alt det der dukker op, hvis I i søgefeltet skriver Miniatur Wunderland. Som I ved, så ligger det jo i Hamburg, med det vidste I Alle jo nok også, ik😹 Undskyld til Jer Alle, at jeg skriver på dansk, men mit skriftlige engelsk er sgu blevet lidt rusten, her efter jeg har rundet 70 og jeg gik jo i folkeskolen i 60ernes København. UHS O 664 GRU - What a nice ride that was! Thank you very much for sharing this! I have seen many of your videos - but still I like those of the Bergen Line best. First I was thinking that it would be really nice to have a "double-video" of the Bergen Line: A "heavy-snow-version" on the left and a "summer-version" on the right side. Then I thought about the required synchronization nightmare, and then I thought "maybe that's not the best of all ideas". ;)

It was a refreshing change to travel this diverted route and such beautiful scenery too. I watched every minute of the journey from start at Ål to finish at Alnabru. Can I ask a question please? During the journey you had an electronic voice say something like "Oom pah" and later on "Oom pah oom". What does this mean? I have heard it on several of your other journeys too. Thanks.

UHS O 664 GRU Is Vy STILL running those wonderful old Class 69 EMUs? By now, those trains must be held together with duct tape and baling wire! It has been quite a while since I saw a video from these lines, so in many sections it was like seeing it for the first time. And your superb camera work made it all the more enjoyable.
