where it has nothing to do with the police and they wouldnt normally be involved. civil means civil and not criminal. the UK police only deal with a criminal offence. America police should watch this and become educated.

Sus scrofa domesticus DOES have tusks ! Some of my boars have had monstroustuks. The main difference is that domesticus gets proper FAT, whereas Sus scrofa is generally lean. Rotavating is mechanical cultivation, what boar do is rooting, orsometimes, “Rootling”, which stirs up the seedbank, and encourages germination of long buried seed.

You let yourself down with poor research, for example the deer you show are Fallow deer( Dama dama), but you label them as Roe deer. You say that Lesser Horseshoe bats emerge from their roosts to forage for vegetation ! They are insectivorous, like all our native bats. It’s an interesting film, and I enjoyed watching it, but by including such glaring errors you are loading your critic’s guns for them ! Find yourself a good editor, or some expert advisers.

I appreciate this comment. This was my first piece of wildlife documentary I'd ever made. My more recent ones aren't as high budget, but the research is absolutely solid. I would love to know what you think of the Boar or Squirrel film?

In between they will eat people. Then people will reduce all carnivore population down again. Circle of life I guess…
@wildcamcraig

The argument is that there is such an abundance of prey species (roe deer, grey squirrels etc) that predators wouldn't even consider eating humans. There's never been a recorded incident of a lynx attacking a human ever, wolves rarely ever look a human in the eye. Bears would be dangerous, yes, but it's all about respect and education
@fu2974
@fu2974 26 күн бұрын
@@wildcamcraig Agreed. I love to see wildlife in its purest. People are the problem and their livestock. There’s a reason why a lot of natural predators have been or nearly wiped out by humans various times. However, more than likely if a predator does attack a human it’s usually people who don’t consider or even know that these re population programs are in full swing. We however as people have a very low tolerance for something that costs us money so it will happen over and over again. Like I said circle of life.

In Belgium there are laws against stealthcamping or wildcamping, but you seldomly get a fine (at least if you have respect, don't tresspass or leave a trace) I've been arrested once and got off with a friendly warning. Most people don't really mind, even police.

I'm bit confused about this stealth camping. Are you not allowed to sleep outdoors on private land? Is this why you were anxious about the digger? Where I come from, it's perfectly legal to camp everywhere expect some nature reserve sites as long as you don't bother anyone.
@micheala4007

In England , there isn’t any wild camping laws due to government and local authorities , In Scotland we have e a different attitude , if you have land owners permission you can camp , it the land is wild , leave no trace , set up at night , break camp down at dawn if it’s a specific beauty spot that is popular
@wildcamcraig
@wildcamcraig 28 күн бұрын
yeah so it's illegal to camp on any land that you don't own, however the law is a civil law not a criminal law. Meaning that it is forbidden, but you won't be prosecuted for it

Unfortunately, there is no incentive for land owners. There is definitely more campers that take the piss than those that are respectful. Just walk down public footpath & see how much rubbish is left.
