Thanks for this, l;oved your review so much, i went out and bought my 2nd Epiphone Casino, have the Natural already, so of course i got myself a Olive Green Worn! PS, on both they had black dirt all over the fret board lol! The ring is from the cheap Tailgate used. There hollow, plus a little short. It causes a rattling. I replaced mine with an ABS one. It pulls the guitar in correct.

It’s a Blues Jr. its strengths are to play blues tones. You know a bit dirty. In my opinion the pristine clean tones of this amp sound like shit. Just get a good dirty tone and roll back your guitar’s volume knob for a cleaner sound.

I would have to say, to really see the quality and how the send their guitars out from the factory, I would say you should have purchased this guitar from Walmart or other retail outlet that won't tend to clean it up and adjust out the not so good parts to give it a good review

While John was receptive to Paul and actually understood Paul’s intentions, he sort of called Paul out at the same time. It’s as if John was issuing a warning to Paul that he is taking on too much with direction. It didn’t help that George had past frustrations with Paul but by this point in time, George was fed up (he was not afraid to go solo and do his own thing). John seemed to indicate, although very subtlety, his emotional disinvestment with the band (despite the fact that he was used to working with Paul this way). To me, this conversation foreshadowed the inevitable breakup of the Beatles. I believe Paul meant well and was trying to keep the band productive and professional. Paul wanted the band to achieve more. Timing was not on his side.

My opinion: Clean: both nice 👍( would even prefer epiphone's sound) Crunch & high gain: gibson wins But yeah, i mean, it's a comparison. The epiphone on a stage with a good guitar player behind, can blow minds too. But i was a little bit shocked, because gibson in crunch and high gain sounded way more... open? More... standing on the ground? I dont have the epiphone 1959, but i really like it though: Looks good, and it's way more affordable. I think one can have a really good time with it... Nice video!

When Billy appeared the effect was magical - 4 became one “just like the old days. Dirty Mac with Lennon, Clapton and Keef - super band/super fun. I think the key to keeping The Beatles together could have been continual “Guest musicians/friends”. So sad they didn’t see it at the time.

Bootlegs of Michael Lindsay Hogg‘s nagra audio reels have been loose in the wild for years and have been heard by many fans and transcribed in some books and blogs. It makes my skin crawl to see fans Jackson defrauded with fiction sold as documentary exclaiming about the honesty of this interaction. It’s an outright lie that the lunchroom tape recorded a private conversation between John & Paul. In erasing the presence and participation of Yoko, Ringo, Mal & Linda in the conversation Jackson erased the reality that a really contentious, crucial issue fracturing the band was John refusing to have any private conversations with any of his bandmates: in the studio, in business meetings, and in personal talks John insisted on Yoko's presence, and even often insisted they accept her speaking for him and controlling subjects of conversation.

I prefer the 335 myself. The sound is more clear & on-point. When the Casino is compared to the 335, It sounds a bit muddy like others have mentioned. I do like being able to easily access the higher frets on the 335 also. .. But yes I agree the Casino has a different sound to it, but the 335 has a different sound also. I find its tone warm and soothing to the ears.

Instead of using a TRS footswitch, you can use a MIDI footswitch, then you have access to many parameters. For example something like the airstep can send any MIDI CC to control track 1 or 2 start, stop, clear and you could use a MIDI controller with knobs to control loop levels from a table/desk. I think they didn’t include clear function, which is a bummer…

They just wanted to go in different directions and at their own paces. Paul was a control freak and wanted to do things his own way on his schedule. It sucks, but I don't blame him or them. They are only human after all. History shows that George definitely resented Paul for his "Paul-ist" ways. In interviews well after the fact George is still very salty about it, salty as the Dead Sea, to the extent that it betrays his "love everyone" mantra. When you love everybody you don't hold such a grudge for decades. Love George but just sayin'.

What many people don't understand is that a wood veneer is just as real as the peice of wood that it was cut from. They cut the veeneer very thin from a slab of flamed maple and a micro thin layer of glue holds it to the plain maple cap. This saves a lot of money and provides a genuine look of flamed maple, because that is exactly what you are looking at. Although these early "1959" Epiphone Les Pauls do not have as nice of a flamed maple top as their normal Epiphone 50s and 60s Les Paul Standards. For whatever reason. To me....the veneer is the smartest way to go for a flame maple top, for those that like that look....Gibson could save a substantial amount of money if they did this on their USA branded models and it wouldn't effect a thing. But would they pass the savings on by lowering the price ? Probably not.

All of you Lennon fanboys all gleefully enjoying the fact that Paul said John was always boss while conveniently ignoring the fact that John replied ‘not always’ which is true. Selective hearing though I’m not surprised. I love Lennon but his fans are one of the most toxic fanbases around and he would have been ashamed of all of you. He loved Paul and what you guys are doing to him in the comments as well as the blatant disrespect he’s been getting from you and from music journalists since 1980 is disgusting and John would have punched you in the face for it.

You also made this statement. This is because they're behind the nut, people say..It's actually behind the nut . Well in theory, this makes sense. However, when you put a heavy piece of metal like a goto tuner on the back of a headstock and you put 6 of them on there, there's so much heavier than a stock Turners. And way Heavier than for example the aluminum sperzel locking ituners.. The problem with this theory is all that mass in the back of the headstock prevents the headstock from resonating like it's supposed to and transfer the vibration to the sp Strings and then to the body. This makes a difference in the liveliness of your guitar and the resonance of the guitar. It makes more of a difference than you might even think. If anyone doesn't believe me try this at home! . Or better yet make a video on it and do a comparison! 😅
