Hi there, perhaps your input/playback ratio is set to 100% input signal. The Input/playback control in the monitoring section in the CONTROL CENTER or the far right button with the two arrows lets you blend between the direct input signal and the computer audio at any ratio.100% left gives you 100% direct monitoring. 100% right gives you 100% playback (computer) audio. Hope this solves your problem.

For stereo recording my acoustic, I've found using a pair of LCT 441 FLEX mics in figure 8 mode for a Blumlein pair configuration gives me a great stereo field without the mono level issues from using M/S! Another tip for recording a better guitar sound... get a better guitar and mic. After decades of inferior gear I finally got a Martin D-18, KM-184 mic and improved the acoustic treatment in my current room. I'm looking forward to trying a Lewitt small diaphragm condenser mics but I've already got a pretty nice mic locker. That solved all my mono issues but still wasn't happy tracking stereo using M/S until I got the pair of FLEX mics on a Triad-Orbit stereo bar. I was using an AKG C414b XLii in figure 8 mode along with the KM-184 for mid/side recording but that has minor level issues when folding down to mono so I opted for the pair of 441's. The pair of 441's were cheaper than getting a 2nd single C414b and sound great.

RAY doesn't affect your dynamics like a compressor. It simply compensate for your distance from the mic--so if you unintentionally drift away or move too close your volume and tone remains consistent. The main application for this is podcasting, content and VO. With singing you might prefer to working the mic and use proximity effect creatively, in which case you can disable AURA. Similarly with mute by distance, this is helpful for livestreaming, video communication and podcasting so you can easily mute yourself when you are in conversation and don't need to be heard.

Surprised to hear he would still sound boomy with AURA on. While it does retain a little bit of proximity effect, it greatly reduces the exaggerated low end fro proximity effect that you would get from any standard cardioid mic.

Yes, they run natively on the DSP of the device itself and it is compatible with iPhone with an lighting camera connection kit adapter so that it can receive adequate bus power. However, it is not possible to take regular calls through the CONNECT 2. The reason is that the iOS operating system always reverts to the native I/O (the iPhone’s microphone and speaker) whenever a user decides to make a call. We analyzed the USB communication and found that for facetime for example, two different sample rates where being sent for the transmitting signal and the monitoring/ playback signal. This is unfortunately an issue that we do not have much control over, and it is also present in other interfaces if the user using a digital device connected to make the call. It is however possible to make video calls using certain apps like teams/skype/zoom.

@@LEWITT-audio Hey Guys, i got the LCT 240 Pro as well as the connect 2 and when listening (even without speaking) it makes crackling noises a lot. As well as the sensitivity is either clipping or way way to weak. Could you help me with this?

Don't think that math checks out... LCT 240 PRO performs really well in terms of rejecting the room since it has a very consistent polar pattern that efficiently rejects everything behind it. You can get great results in almost any room by just recording at a relatively close proximity. No fancy acoustic panels needed (although they can always help with any mic).
