This was awesome.🎉 Love the emphasis on behavior vs other vague standards. Once you have the right people in the right seat, then it becomes a matter of enforcing quality control at scale. But that's a much easier problem than hiring people who simply can't and won't be able to do the specific job.

Great insight and thanks, Rick. My take on this would be getting to a 5 consistently is better than a random 10, 5, 2, 4,10, etc. But once you are hitting a 5 consistently the focus becomes getting to a 6 (not a 10) consistently through systems, feedback, tracking, etc rather than saying "hey, this 5 is good." Then we want to try and figure out how to get to a 7 consistently, etc. A kaizen kind of thing.

@@AlloyPersonalTraining the cultural stuff is so interesting. If the investor isn't willing to enforce cultural values with the manager, cultural alignment becomes less and less likely each relationship step removed from that relationship. And the result is either chaos or just complete ineffectiveness. That initial owner-top employee relationship is the cell of the business organism.
@jeffblair6586
@jeffblair6586 2 ай бұрын
And I do think "enforce" is the only word that works there. The values have to be fought for and protected. So many are obsessed with the appearance of being "nice" when nice means being "agreeable". Being agreeable when someone is ignoring cultural values is wrong.

I think this video NEEDS a new title...it is VERY misleading to suggest "HOW TO PRESALE..."??? This is A LOT of talking saying nothing about "how to" anything other than hire us and we will take care of you. All good...juat change the misleading title...there is ZERO How To in this video...do better.

While we in franchising are new to Rick’s brain (great comment Mark!), we are also obsessed with it! I fell in love with Alloy from go because I train in a small group setting for 10 years. As I listened to you talk about making the workouts different, as a customer of personal training, I cringe when we are all doing different things. I love my group. We all do the same workout although modified for strength (load) and working around injuries but the session (not class😅) flows better that way in my opinion. Plus a little competition among us makes us all work a little bit harder esp on days when you don’t even feel like training. This was awesome! And if anyone listening is inspired to learn more about the franchise model and Alloy, I’ve been a franchise consultant for 21 years. I know and love this model, and I’d love to get you prepared to meet Rick and his team so you can be awarded a franchise license. My services are free to you. I make Rick pay me!!! 😂 @TheDalyCoach

This is 🔥🔥🔥 We want freedom from resistance of bosses, limited income, limited time off, but most of us don’t want life on the beach all day every day. What we want is to wake up inspired to make our dreams come true! To live life on our own terms. To feel mentally free! That’s what we want, and a GIANT purpose fuels all of that. Well said Rick Mayo.🎉
