Watching the entire movie is a must. Each band member had a fantasy sequence so it’s a bit goofy/fun there but - the concert footage is what you really wanna see. Whole Lotta Love here segues in from Heartbreaker. You’ll see what I mean when you watch the film. Too bad Jones and Bonzo got zero camera time during the theramin bit. The rhythm section was as unique as a fingerprint - as is Zeppelin was as a whole in itself. They were the ultimate musical unit.

It’s one of my all time favs too. I think the best Australian song written (sorry Nick Cave). It sends shivers every time. There’s a very different, but still so powerful cover by Missy Higgins, really worth a listen.

The video editing is equally as impressive as the music mashups. Bravo on all.

This beautiful aria with music by Ennio Morricone from the film “The Mission,” and lyrics added by Chiara Ferraù is about an imaginary world of peace and harmony. I presume the implication is that this is the fantasy of the missionary which provokes enormous irony. The “mission” of the missionary is to persuade the indigenous people to abandon their cultural traditions and superstitions in favor of the missionary’s culture and superstitions. Europeans generally regarded indigenous peoples to be “savages” in need of “salvation.” So the fantasy is presumably about a world of European culture and superstition, rather than of any sort of diversity or inclusion. The first 2 minutes is another Ennio Morricone composition called "The River" with the voices of the Mzansi Youth Choir, then Amira comes on stage for Nella Fantasia.

She is now an independent producer after having a frustrating experience with Simon Cowell's firm and who he sold his stake to. Her first two original videos were about this difficult experience with the record company who really never promoted her other than these live covers and John Lennon's Christmas song. They tried to get her to change her style and her genre which angered Courtney. Check out Breakable, That Girl Don't Live Here, Call Me Back, Monsters, and Christmas Rocks. All were released in 2023 with the help of a classic songwriter named Kevin Bowes. 2023 was the year she became independent. Her fans are ecstatic that she is independent. She will have an album this year (2024) and begin giving concerts. Hopefully one will come to you.

His talent was breathtaking from when he first appeared until he breathed his last. Genius is apt for him, no overstatement is possible where Prince is concerned.

As a guitar player, This solo gets me teary eyed. I’ve listened to the cover probably 1000x. Goosebumps every single time. A masterpiece of a solo. It’s like you mixed Gary Moore, Gilmore, Page and Aretha Franklin. They made my favorite PF song second on the list to this wonder. Thank you Max for giving us this singularity.
