This is actually around a minute slower than my slowest any% run I uploaded (not slowest I've ever done though, that has long since been deleted). Truthfully though, 100% doesn't add as much as it sounds like. A shit ton of looting and a few extra fights is about it, with the largest single addition being the sewers section.

Yeah, for whatever reason skipping the Timmy cutscene at the start of Day 2 too early just does that. I used to wait so the cutscenes wouldn't be fucked, but I am greedy and want those like 2 seconds lol

Does my framerate drop? I tend to rewatch my runs to see where timesave is, and its been a while since I've looked at this run (especially since I beat it recently), but I don't remember noticing that. Can you let me know which use(s) you mean so I can see if this was a one off thing or if I should adjust my settings somewhere? Also what do you mean by "not fair"? I don't know what you are referring to with this.

@@Warlord4Hikage I just watched the first one in the Kenny fight (before zombie princess kenny), and it seems fine to me. That being said I do go back and forth between normal speed and 2x speed with this game for testing stuff, so I'll ask other people to check as well.

@@jonathanshields7414 I absolutely believe I cannot, and I never will even try, it just isn't worth it. I also don't know what you mean by "not an honest speedrun". I started the game, played through, and beat it fast. The censor patch is just how the game was released in Australia, and anybody on PC can get it (I live in the US personally).

I'm really stuck on the Abortion Clinic scene with Randy. I wasted like an hour trying the other night lol.

I find the game fun personally. I prefer RPG's over this style of game in general, so I doubt I'll be playing this once the "new game" feeling wears off though (I have been busy since launch, but I plan on doing a bit more with it still). The game is a bit short, partially because it isn't an rpg, but I found it entertaining enough as a South Park game. People have said that it is a lot more fun coop than solo, however I didn't really notice a difference (I am not always in the mood to talk to people, so I am sure that is part of it). TLDR, I think the game is fun and worth trying, but imo it isn't anything super special.

@hardcorecheese5998 Would you say it lived up to your expectations? To be frank I'm not sure how much I'm expecting (though I do enjoy the hack n' slash genre). Also about the length, aren't they gonna add more chapters and content and whatnot? I think EZ mentioned it in his video (BTW nice job on being featured in it!). I think my biggest concern is from what I've heard it's one of those live service games, and I'm not sure if I wanna buy a game that the developers can shut down at any time.

@@TheTrveRed Casually I'd say it was about what I expected. I am sure others had higher hopes that were not met though. In terms of speedruns it has a bit more rng than I expect (and much more than I was hoping for). I think some people were hoping for a bit more variety in the gameplay, as there is some, but aside from the few bosses, all the fights kind of feel the same. There will be more content, however I am not sure what form it will be. I also heard it will be extra chapters, however that was not from anything official so I won't comment much more on that, I can only judge what has been released. About this being a "live service" game, I'll be honest, I am not 100% what people mean by that (my own ignorance), but you should be able to play this game offline, so if they ever shut down the servers, you just won't be able to play coop anymore, which isn't much different from other games afaik. I could be mistaken on this, but I just launched the game to check, and I don't think there is any "server" you connect to outside of the obvious steam one.

@@hardcorecheese5998 If it's a game you can play offline, then it doesn't count as a live service game (AKA a "game as a service"), in which case I'm more likely to pick it up. "Games as a service" is a pretty shitty business practice on the part of game companies, and there is a slowly growing pushback against it. If you have an hour to spare, I highly reccomend checking out the video ""Games as a Service" is fraud." by Ross Scott (who goes by Accursed Farms on KZfaq). It's a pretty good video that covers the tenuous legality of it and how it negatively impacts gaming. I would link it here but I don't wanna risk it getting deleted by spam filters.

It is faster. It lets you skip the probe minigames as well as 2 of the abortion minigames.

My previous PB was 1:19:19 RTA (this was before load remover was a thing), so this is around a 2 and a half minute PB. Still big improvement though, and I still have no idea where it came from.

This is insane 9 hours and I had no clue you could fart on flaming opponents for added damage. And I'm having to stop 33min in to avoid spoilers but there's like 3 mechanics I just learned.

This is a great question. The short answer is I have no fucking clue lmfao. The long answer is: 1) I just got better at the game, I saved probably 30 seconds from better dialogue skips in the overworld, cleaner menuing, more confidence in fights, and my most recent fighter current patch run lost around a minute in Canada 2) I actually timed stuff (shocking that this helps, I know). Last time I routed this, I was focused on getting fights over while allowing the opponent to attack as little as possible. This time, I timed different attack animations so each fight is actually as fast as I can reasonably get 3) I kind of believe that the computer I am using now has better loads than the one I did my last fighter run on, which helped with the RTA time. Load remover wasn't a thing when I had my old one, so I can't compare that to see if it is actually true, or if I just got better though.

KZfaq notifications suck. Also now that I finished my Masters Exam, I have more free time during the semester, so I've been gaming. I had ideas for reroutes for a bunch of categories, so I did so. No idea what happened, by my current patch runs have been insane this past week. Every run I did this past month has been with a new route (unless I uploaded 2 120 friends runs, which I may have. Those are the same route, but different from what I was doing in the past).

I've been preferring unpatched runs as well, mostly because damage ranges tend to work out better, but this run is pretty good imo. I also want to do any% of each class back to back as a single run, and current patch is just more consistent, so I'm relearning on there.

This run does get all weapons and armor (as each is its own achievement), however I go out of my way for a few other achievements, so a 100% run would be a more efficient route to follow. Casually it shouldn't matter, but worth mentioning.

I am 100% playing the game when it comes out. Not sure if it will be solo or with friends, but that is a future me problem. The website for the game says "Engage in frenetic, action-packed combat against warring factions in an all-new story where you make the rule" so there will be a story, but obviously whether it is a good speedrun is a different question. I wouldn't mind a remaster of this game, however I don't agree that they should nerf a bunch of stuff. Some things obviously, but the combat of this game isn't really designed for long battles without using items every other turn, which casually would be a huge turn off for me personally. The thing I want the most is honestly the ability to swap between keyboard and controller without having to unplug my controller / plug it back in. I love TFBW, probably even more than this game casually. I thought the combat was much more enjoyable and strategy based, which is my preference. The slow combat is actually not what makes it a pain to run, its the unskipable cutscenes that are throughout the entire game (for me at least, I'm sure some people find the slow combat to be an issue).

@@hardcorecheese5998 I suppose a good compromise would be introducing some sort of New Game+, where you can't use an item every turn, your attacks are weaker, items are more expensive and less abundant, etc. and maybe add some buffs in such as reducing the damage from blocking more. It'd be interesting to see where they''d take that, but I guess we should wait until the next game comes out; If it does well I'm not sure if we'll get a new turn-based South Park RPG, haha.

@@TheTrveRed If they increase survivability somehow, so that items would be less relevant, I would be interested. Even just a more consistent way to heal outside of items / Butters honestly. One change that I think would be interesting is having HP not auto recover outside of battle. That mechanic lets me play much more recklessly than I normally would.
