Is it a T9.9 or F9.9? I’ve never seen a T series Yamaha with no power tilt or electric start. Far as I know the T9.9/T8 ( kicker version) was standard with power tilt and electric start.

Your probably right. One of my regrets for the WR250R tho is its torque. Something a little lighter and more power offroad would be nicer. Cheers

Not hating, just an observation. Sad you put all that $ into that bike, to sell it. That's why I'm keeping mine box stock. I'm good with it pretty much the way it sits. Maybe that sprocket change on the rear, would be the start of the rabbit hole. 😊

Neighbor asked me to help get his grandsons dirtbike running(1995 pw80)....cleaned carb 1st figuring it needed to be done as bike had been sitting...then decided to check and clean off spark plug and check compression while plug was out....just barely over 25psi you can push kickstart with pinky finger. So i guess my neighbor has to go amazon/ebay shopping for a rebuild kit. When i was cleaning the carb i noticed the previous owner had shoved a stick into whats supossed to be the oil feed line going to carb in an attempt to bypass the oil pump and not create a vacuum leak😂 lol. Im guessing the previous owner got their gas mix wrong a few times as well leading to the low compression.
@bigair01762 ай бұрын

@@bigair0176at this point I've explained to them about the low compression and that a rebuild isn't that expensive but they don't want to put any more $ into it. They got it for 200 plus I checked it out for 40. Kinda shocked they won't put a few more dollars into it.
