Get Southgate now that he’s free. His style will better suit the US team thats not packed with quality players. He’ll make them tougher to break down and play counter attacking football. The pragmatic style is ideal for these players. It’s proven successful if not pretty to watch.

Cherundolo doesn’t have the experience yet. Could be a really good manager one day but he’s not ready to take the U.S. job before the most important tournament in U.S. soccer history.

I'm surprised that Jimmy didn't mention David Wagner considering that he's German American, and has coached in both the Premier League and Bundesliga. He was also Klopp's former assistant and I would not be shocked if Klopp recommended him to Crocker.

If Pochettino wanted the US job, I'd jump on that. I think he's a very good coach and very good tactically and a good "teacher".
