Lovely tutorial! May I ask where did you get that nifty iron that raises itself when you put it down?

It hadn't occurred to me to use my walking foot for sewing long strips... I'll definitely try that! Another thing you may be able to do is make sure your thread tension is correctly set. If either top or bottom thread tension is too tight it can cause uneven feed.

Sometime ago I was quite taken with your video of 'Picket Fence ' using 5 inch squares. I am wondering if they can be made larger using 10 inch squares and if so, what would the maths be (not my strong point)?

Thanks a BIG bunch! I started a QAYG quilt about 10 years ago. But...life has a way of detouring efforts from time to time & it ended up as a WIP! 😂 I'm retired now and have just found the project...sadly I forgot how it went together. I was THRILLED to find your video this morning! My, soon to be born, new great grandson will be the recipient of this project... THANKS TO YOU!

Brilliant, I needed advice on how to control really long strips that would run the width of the quilt. This was the best video I found and also it helped me plan how I would use the main fabric and keep all the strips running neatly so that they don't end up on a diagonal as the quilt builds
