We love your videos about our historic landmarks -- Old Newgate Prison, Drake Hill Flower Bridge, and the old school buildings in Bloomfield. Looking forward to seeing more and visiting these spots ourselves.

Thanks for showcasing these historic Connecticut schoolhouses! Hopefully they will be preserved for future generations. Imagine if each week a different local school could bring their students on a field trip to visit these buildings -- I bet the kids would enjoy seeing what the schools of the past were like. A living history lesson!

Splendi! Doesn't an indoor butterly habitat seem like something an Anthony Trollope character would have?
@laniralston397923 күн бұрын
I will have to research that. This particular place opened around 2000 by some local people who were very dedicated to raising butterflies. It's quite an experience to have them all flying around, sometimes landing on you. Definitely worth a visit! Thanks for watching!

Definitely! According to the sign, the park was a gift from the Tomasso family, it appears things were redesigned a bit down there for one of the runways over time. Thanks for watching

Lani, since you're so active I thought that I would mention something I find very rewarding: I enjoy volunteering in Bicycle Collectives. These are organizations who promote earth friendly transportation while serving to inspire underprivileged youth. They will teach you everything you need to know, and you will meet wonderful people in the process. I've volunteered in many of these. I also have enjoyed (and also recieved the benefit of) teaching language as a second language such as English.

I don't think winters are cold enough now to form the ice that was produced there.
@laniralston3979Ай бұрын
I agree, the photos show some huge horses all standing on the ice covered lake pulling the blocks along. We still have some cold days but not enough in a row these days to really freeze the lake. Thanks for watching!

I'm sorry to admit that Bob Dylan is low on my list of folk singers. I think his work featured a low intensity cultural and political criticism that was inadequate for his time, or ours.
