nice. I heard doing this and a CDV delete does a world of difference for the transmission... I'm thinking about doing a ssk on mine am hesitant bc I actually don't mind the shift feel on the g8x. the car as a whole is very smooth and buttery and it kinda goes with the feel of the shifter tbh. for example a gt4 style shift wouldn't go as well with this car imo.

If the g80 had the f90 front end instead it would have been be the best looking bmw hands down like 6:30...but instead the f80 is still the best looking stock bmw. G80's do have the best paint schemes around, the Portimao Blue....😩🤤

Well done... Highly informative and factual review. As one of the early owners of a M3 Comp. that uses the G80 as my daily, I have no complaints. I enjoy the platform so much, I'm waiting on my 2025 M4 Comp. convertible to arrive. NRP is the real deal for doing work on your Bimmer. As someone who has owned eight, soon to be nine, straight BMW's, I'm having them modify my next one as soon as it hits the dealership. These guys are pro's, check out their shop and you will agree.

how much does the paint match usually run? Can you guys do it?

It would look better if you put the silver line where filter media is put together on the bottom by rotating the filter so it can not be seen. That way you only see all red filter media.

I was so close to ordering my G80 in that blue or Le Mans blue. I ended up going with Portimao blue but those other blue’s are beautiful. This is the M-Performance coilovers right?

You're right, it can be done this way, but it's pretty challenging to get the bottom grille clips unfastened. I really struggled with that part and ended up butchering the old grille pretty badly. Snapping in the new grille was a breeze as was reinstalling the other parts. Glad you mentioned about the hood gap so I took a close look at it before I started. I had to go back and make some small adjustments, so don't put on the last plastic cover before you've checked the gap. Thanks for doing this video!
