hey man, did you manually animate the floating rock?
@sharkyy128 ай бұрын
I did yes, just placed it and set the transform positions to rotate like 270 degrees over the course lf the sequence and also move up and down a bit

I used Ocean System For Rendered Cinematics, it doesn't use physics but it looks really really good and this is at quality level 1 when you could go up to say 7-12

Such a beautiful shot dude, it Looks sooo magical. The only thing I miss in those scenes are some fireflies making it 100% perfect but it’s damn cool as it is How did you made the sky and the moon?
@sharkyy1210 ай бұрын
Thanks! I was gonna add some fireflies but any particle effects I could find that were free didn't give the look I was looking for. And the sky and moon were done with ultra dynamic sky and its the only thing that cost money in the whole project but its damn worth it! 20$ on Marketplace

foliage is wonderfull, of course, but the rails shape is totally wrong :(
@sharkyy12 Жыл бұрын
They are photo scanned rails so the rails may just be a different shape from where you live
@koldoon3279 Жыл бұрын
@@sharkyy12 Unfortunately, no. This does not depend on place, this is physics : ) Rails never turn in with right corner, special "squircle" shape is used instead. The idea is to make acceleration inside the turn as small and smooth as possible. Since you want to make everything look as real as possible it'd better to take this in account as well ;)
@sharkyy12 Жыл бұрын
@@koldoon3279 oh yea i though you meant the shape of the actual rail itself, but i just didnt feel like modeling that because i was going on a trip the next day so wanted to get it finished

HI, what kind of method do you use to spread the small vegetation on the tree stump
@sharkyy12 Жыл бұрын
I make the scale and size pretty small, increase the density to 1.0 for the main brush and then to 5000 in the adjustments area when your selected on the foliage, then i adjust the ground angle so they can be placed on vertical angles, and also make the z-offset a little lower like -2.0 so they aren’t floating

god ive been using blender for a few years now and everytime i see an UE5 video it makes me want to go and learn it even more
@sharkyy12 Жыл бұрын
Yea unreal is great, ive only been been using it for a couple months and i can do this for completely free. Although ive barely used it, blender i feel is better for modeling while unreal engine can be better for putting together worlds and scenes
@SimFiftyFifty Жыл бұрын
@@sharkyy12 I use both, blender cycles can get much more realistic results, but blender doesn't handle as much polygons as unreal engine and has hard time dealing with volumetrics (but there's lots of workarounds). A forest scene like this is one of the only thing that i would do in UE instead of blender (tons of polygons).
