I'm curious, does sleeping convey a buff or something? I always build bedrooms for fun but I basically never use them, just feels like a waste of food saturation.

Good question! I don't think it does, but through modding, I have seen a "well rested" buff. I'll have to look into that more, I'm not sure which mod that's from! It's definitely a waste of food, you're right.

@@CrickBritt There's just too much to do in VS to waste time sleeping! Haha! A buff would be good though, I'd like a good gameplay reason to actually use those carefully crafted bedrooms, make it worth the saturation loss.

Using the decorative shelves from QP's Chisel tools mod, you can make the shelf appear as any chiseled block! The silver platter, counter beneath, and storage shelves behind all use the decorative shelf. The two lower sides of the bar are decorative chests, allowing you to maximize the storage! 🫶🍻

Honestly not totally sure yet! I have never had a windmill or working helve hammer, I think that would be cool! And surviving our first winter will be a challenge. Lots of mods to play with too, like making our own village!

The death mask is a fitting look now, though. 👍 The tree hollow mod you are thinking of is probably primitive survival (if you haven't found it already anyway)

@@CrickBritt Yep animals in the darkness will die. If you find an animal in a cave ithe Status box will say something like "this animal is in darkenss it might die soon."

@@CrickBritt Yes, windows work, I use skylights sometimes too. But any light source works. Next time put an oil lamp in the hole. I've never covered up any of my animals underground and so I've never lost any but I have seen them die like that in caves. If the animal is in darkness for a certain amount of time the animal will despawn and leave a carcass. I use buildings/enclosures with windows and torches/lanterns inside.
