I saw Foghat in a club in the late 80s. Phenomenal to see them in a small venue , we couldn't hear after the show when we stepped outside. I think i have tinnitus in my left ear to this day from the screaming slide guitar 😳. Great show and good time . 8:06

Back in the day I had always had wished that Rush, Triumph and Max Webster had done a tour together. Oh well.

Best concert I ever saw was the original Foghat at Settler's Family Dining in Mandan, ND July 14, 1996. Maybe a hundred or so people showed up and pretty much filled the place up. Even with such a tiny audience, these guys totally killed it. Dressed to kill and playing in top form. Full concert. True professionals. They even did a free meet and greet afterward. IIRC, tickets were only $8.00.

They are now going into the Rock and Roll. I have waited for a long time for this to happen. It’s going to be special. One of greatest Rock bands ever.

Them Brits can rock. Awesome band. Eight days on the road kinda reminded me of another great live British band, Humble Pie. 🎸

Best rock band ever. Even with the crappy video and sound they really sound great. I wish I could have seen them in their prime, they'll never be another band as good as them.

I remember watching this concert or videos from it on MTV when MTV first came out. That’s how I discovered Foghat. I was 10 in 81. “ Fool for the City” was a favorite

What’s the point of editing out the solo on rock bottom? That’s Michael’s signature solo…

The first time I was turned on to them in 1970 I was hooked on that band here’s a guy who only played for ten years yet he sounded like he’s been playing guitar for 50 years I picked up my first guitar then over the years I learned about 40 songs but I could never play lead right he was a gift to us all long live DAUNE music forever 🎉i😂he was taken to soon from us

A highly creative and virtuosic mixture of powerful, expressive music, stunning solos and interplays, surprising ideas, unexpected changes, topped by the stunning voice of DCT - simply the most innovative concert ever recorded live by BS&T. An adventurous musical journey for the open listerner!

When I was a kid I lived near this Portuguese club where a cover band rehearsed and they tried for ages to put Follow Your Heart into their set but nobody in the band could hit the high notes in that line "you've got to follow your heart". They had the rest of the song down but they never quite got that part.

saw them on their Allied Forces tour with opening band Santers. Only 4000 showed up and those that didn't missed an amazing show. It was as if they were labelled a poor mans Rush which was so not true

I wanted to go to this show bit I was 10 years old. My parents wouldn't let me go. But I caught some great shows in Sealand Arena shortly thereafter!!! I love the audio. It's so raw and so live!! What a great band!!!

I might be wrong about this, but I think at least three of them were classically trained on their instruments with many years of experience behind them. Saw them live back in 1972 and it was the best rock show I ever attended. A class act!

Saw them in Chicago in April of 1972. They’d refined it a bit. You can find a bootleg of that performance online as well. The took a break, came back and played One of These Days, Careful With That Axe Eugene, Echoes, Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun. If I had to name one concert that stood out above all others, that would be the easy pick.
