Data nerds have very weak responses for instances, that go back decades, of certain people being falsely charged and convicted of crimes they did not commit, certain crimes being mislabeled or never recorded - like murders being mislabeled as suicides or people who disappear and who are never found - and people who get away with crimes for a number of reasons - including being a member of or receiving cover from law enforcement. I don't think anyone keeps reliable stats on some of these things, but there are many egregious incidents that should raise questions about relying on government crime statistics, going back decades....

Why haven't more resources and brain power been put towards ending poverty and other neoliberal excesses that lead to trauma, which a large percentage of prison inmates suffered as children, which leads many people to commit crime, instead of funding ivory tower dwellers to study and report the obvious.....

Patel answered honestly and intelligently. Lee lied through her teeth when she said she wasn't at events supporting the Jewish community after October 7 because she had a job in Washington DC. and that she met with every Jewish organization that requested a meeting with her.

1:20:41 for the messiest, most unhinged forum response I’ve ever heard. Had nothing to do with the question and MacDonald just straight up insults everyone in the audience

What on earth does Macdonald think she's doing? If she wants to be racist and demonize trans people, she should be running as a republican. And if dems wanna turn around Biden's dogshit polls they MUST drop this narrative that calling out the genocide in Gaza is antisemitism. Never again means for everyone

Summer Lee is clearly the most qualified, informed, prepared candidate to lead on DAY one! The other candidates lacked vision, knowledge of the issues at hand, and lack the experience to serve in Congress. The last question tells it all, what law would you pass Day 1 if there were no obstacles? Summer Lee was the only won who gave a REAL answer that got at the heart of a troubling problem, dark money PACs/corporations flooding our elections. Summer for re-election!

I think the issue isn't economic competition. The US and China are battling for global dominance. Trade is going to be used as a tool in that war.

No, it's not "Democratic" it's a Republic. From a liberal college one can't expect much higher than ignorance I suppose.
@hcklbery8565 Жыл бұрын
@@heyloben8306 Incorrect. Democracy is majority rules. And it doesn't. Even at the local level there are manipulated district boundaries that controls the majority's votes overall by dividing up the demographic input. We have delegates that represent divided up segments of society so that the overall majority can't run roughshod over the minority to give a voice of representation to everyone equally. That's why were call a direct representative Gov't We're also under a "Rule of Law" and the document that rules all laws under which all laws must submit is the U.S. Constitution. That's why we are a Constitutional Republic electing our leader by a heavily guarded, regulated democratic process. Unchecked, unbridled democracy is tyranny by mob rule. If we were a Democracy we'd still have slavery in this country, only land owning white men would be allowed to vote. Our founding fathers new the dangers and were wise Godly men.
@theflamefistgod1705 Жыл бұрын
@@hcklbery8565 voters should choose their politicians. Politicians shouldn't be able to choose their voters. That is how democracy works. You're basically saying that the majority shouldn't vote because the majority isn't voting the way you want them to. And by the way in 2020, the majority chose the democrats to have power in 2020. And in 2000 to 2006 the majority chose Republican to have power making your entire argument completely idiotic

@@theflamefistgod1705 You've conveniently omitted 2016 where the majority voted for Clinton but Trump won the election because we are not majority rules government we're a Republic with checks and balances on the tyranny majority rule represents. Rule of law; THAT'S US.
