Different they are, and clearly at that? Please share your insights. Apart from Max quite obviously being the faster driver on equal material, I think it's not far fetched to assume the car has been developed to his likings, and thus will not match Checo's equally well. How much of a difference this can make I learned when Mika Häkkinen and David Coulthart were teammates, and when the car characteristics were changed mid-season their relative speed changed from half a second up to half a second down or so, and vice versa.

Will people call Mercedes Cheaters if they go over the budget cap? If that's what people were calling Red Bull when they breached the cap, it would only be fair. I know it won't happen. don't compare the two. Perez only won 2 races last year, only 1 race before Red Bull. there is no comparison between max and checo. Checo almost lost his seat for a reason.
