He averaged 28-8-4 on 57/52/80%. He DID play LeBron well in these quarters, and that narrative purveys the whole series like it wasn''t Wade and Bosh averaging career-lows in the Finals that cost them a chance (they still would have lost, just not 4-1).

Riley won coach of the year this season for the 1st time ever & was 80s coach of the decade...and Jerry Buss 💩🥫 him the summer of '90 after the Suns beat them in the playoffs. Coop was waived that summer also. Beginning of the end of showtime started when Kareem retired in '89 followed by Coop & Riley's releases in '90. The final nail in showtime's coffin was Magic's HIV announcement in '91.

I cannot believe they even spoke the words "could have been an offensive foul" on that first clip. He shook him & went to dunk. You cannot suck Lebron any harder than to claim the guy he knocked to the ground out of mid air actually fouled Lebron somehow.

Imagine Lebron against a prime MJ or a prime Gary Payton. He’d have horrible shooting nights.

1:04 young Kobe was a nightmare to guard but defenders back then because he was skilled and super athletic but from time to time they are lucky because Kobe sometimes would force tough shots. He would even purposefully shoot tough shots like this just for the sake of it. That shot selection was atrocious

He scored 55 points this game don’t forget to include that. He had to score a plethora of points and locked up the team’s best ball-handler. GOAT shit!

Wilt was psychologically strange. He ran like crazy and padded his stats in Game 6 against Nate Bowman when he should have sat out the fourth quarter then, against an injured Willis, did not run. Bill Russell was commenting, "Why doesn't Wilt run him"? Jerry West couldn't handle the ball (jammed thumbs. Strange) but Wilt wouldn't come backcourt to help out. A key was that Wilt was 1 for 11 on free throws; he didn't want the ball because he didn't want to shoot free throws.

Ale co robił sqbany to totalna amatorka. SPŁASZCZAŁ RZUT ( widać że wk...wiony). Zobaczcie na WSZYSTKIE rzuty. Łącznie z osobistymi. Płaskie jak placek. Byle do kosza. Byle szybciej. Byle więcej punktów. Bardzo dobre podejście w Playoff. Widać zaangażowanie. Zimnej krwi - niewiele. 29 pkt - sporo...ale rzucał co dotknął w drugiej połowie. POWDWAJANY HALF - COURT (prawie w polowie boiska gdzieś na ósmym metrze)...!!!

Probably had a reason but we will never know, because he didn't make excuses. In fact he owned it in the post game press conference by calling himself " Do Do", and Scotty "Sh-t" in describing there shooting.
