That looks like really really hard work! Watching you in the snow made me freeze. And so many hours of work each day ... That`s tough, no wonder that you`ve been exhausted at times. So many beautiful spots in nature tho. Thanks for making them even more beautiful by planting so many trees! (even if some will be cut off again after some time) Kudos for your commitment and decidaction to this job and towards your goal of buying land 🙏🏽❤ See you soon!

whats not talked about enough is the fact that grasslands are just as important as forests. prairies are going exttinct. planting monocultures isnt saving the earth. biodiversity is so important. one disease, or fire could destroy all of these trees and then what good did all this effort do?

Jason, love, please consider B.C Canada 🇨🇦 after Australia(sometime in the future). Our fires have also devasted our wilderness and some small towns/communities have nothing left. Sure have missed you. Relaye so much to your social topic...no service to being bombarded...nothing feeling left to give out after long days so messages go unanswered. Felt less alone and less like a horrible person hearing your experience. Thank you sweetness 😊💚

Congratz man, you did a really cool thing. I used to be a tree planter in north British Columbia Canada. The most amount of trees I've planted in a single day was 3745. But the ground was really creamy and the price we were getting paid per tree was low, like 9 cents. Also the saplings we were planting were about a quarter of the size of yours

Hey Jason, such a great video! I skipped the parts where you sat in the tree or when you showed what you did day to day because I watched those videos before. I'm Marcel I'm 30 and from Germany, been watching you for quite some time, don't know how long actually. I'd like to know more about how you got into this work. I'm wondering if your approach to this job is the same in other countries like here in Germany or, say Spain. Thanks for all the hard work that you put towards your goal (a lot of inspiration "spews" from your dedication with life! for me anyways) and thanks for vlogging so much of it and cutting it all together, this video must've taken ages to edit. Have a great summer and until some time in the future. Sending you lots of love and good energies from the Northern Germanies ✨

I really don't like how you said "if you wonder where trees come from it's from people like me" oh no what would trees do without people like you you're so enlightened trees wouldn't even be able to exist without you theyre not self sufficient you're so important
@VEE3RDEYE5 күн бұрын
@@drowzzzy1631 you’re misinterpreting my tone. This has nothing to do with enlightenment, i’m simply stating that tree planters are the reason forests still exist. A few hundred years ago many old growth forests (that grew naturally potentially or were planted by humans thousands of years ago) were cut down for wooden ships. Most of the uk was deforested. They say around 90% lost. What remains are small patches of new trees & plantations. I don’t like plantations. But if it wasn’t for them then all our trees would need to be cut for the wood demand.
@jodieburgess3265 күн бұрын
Have you ever been to balter festival? You seem like the type to love it and it’s also in wales!
5 күн бұрын
The thing with the forests is simple. Usually it's basically a field, that supplies you with wood. You mow it like a garden, plant rows of monoculture, let it grow for some time, then you cut everything at once. and again. Historically we were very irresponsible to them, but it forgaves us because there were not 8 billions people living here. Nowdays this point of view on the forestry is unsustainable. Good thing is there are new ways for taking care of the forests. Actually so many, but it all depends on where you live, and what kind of trees you taking care of. But basically based on my perspective, these are the main rules for me: 1) Heterogenity, grow many species, so it is lush, and it can cooperate and it can fight off pests and diseases 2) grow species that are native / and most importantly 3) keep the levels of the forests! There always, in anytime needs to be old trees, even dead ones, that operates like a home for many insects and animals, then adult trees, that are the parents for the younglings, and the forest floor can breathe that way, because there is shadow as well as sunshine.
5 күн бұрын
But even the ethical way of forestry can supply you with plenty of wood. You just need to make sure, that you take away so much wood, so the eco stability of the forests stays.
@TheHalloweenLady5 күн бұрын
Interested in how the trees u planted end up being a monoculture of forest which basically ends up with the bare woodland floor and no habitat for animals. Did u work for a company that planted trees ethically or how dose it work?
