I kept seeing the Chika dance meme and wanted to know what that was about. Simple curiosity about an internet phenomenon made me start watching this series one day. I got hooked so quickly, and I ended up binging the entire thing in a weekend and it is one of the top animes of all time in my personal ranking. Completely took me by surprise. Everything about this production is top notch: animation, characters, music, and story. And this is really not a genre I normally go for at all, so to get me this invested is really special. My curiosity about Chika was satisfied after three episodes but I am now to this day desperately hoping for a fourth and fifth season to finish up the source material.

If I remember right, Kita's senior season was the only season he got a jersey. He was the never the best or the worst, he did all those things (cleaning balls, the bathroom, the locker rooms) because he was being a good diligent teammate and always believed that if you put the hard work in, the world will eventually pay you off. Well in his case the coaches did pay attention and awarded him with the #1 Jersey his senior year, which is also that of team captain. Considering the overwhelming talent on that team that's saying so much....Being the role model that every member should look up to and how they should behave as a member of the team no matter the talent level. He's an amazing character and one of the best of the later chapters even tho like in the anime and manga wasn't all that featured.
