It's easy to tell that not only is he super technical, but he's better than Rodtang as far as that's concerned. He moves so smoothly and efficiently. He baited out rodtang in the first round with a damn hip feint. That was nuts.

That other commentator was clearly pro Haggerty. C'mon. After Rodtang knocked Haggerty down in the 4th, he said that Rodtang has a "slight" edge. Give me a break. That was a 2 - 1 round to Rodtang.

Not really. Haggerty managed distance well with teeps but Rod Tang would force an exchange and come out on top. Not to mention he was checking a majority of leg kicks and returning them. Haggerty however was eating those legs kicks and getting dumped in the clinch. Most body kicks from Haggerty were blocked extremely well by Rod Tang, not to mention the drop in the fourth. There is an argument for rounds 1 and 2 but by round 3 Haggerty's teeps and front kicks were becoming more sloppy and less effective.

Haggerty took 1, 2, and 5 but Rodtang's wins were much more decisive than Haggerty's. 1, 2, and 5 were all close and 1 and 2 felt more like them feeling each other out rather than actual fighting. While the real fighting was 3, 4, and 5 which rodtang easily took 3 and 4 and only slightly lost 5.

Cadorette match: The ref should have called a restart as soon the strap came off. Todd climbed himself above Jerry's hand, out of the strap. Silly how you can give away the title like this. Its a classic now, but still annoying to see in 2024
