Amazing! Congrats! How make this Silicone Molds with the original Jar and lid?
@ilovegameslibb29175 ай бұрын
I’ve been using my glue gun for awhile now. Also white glue and baby powder/ or cornstarch mix to make a dough like clay. In my molds , making magnets for cross-stitch to hold my needles. Great if you drop them . Just hover on the floor they stick like magic.

Fantastic idea! What does it mean to “frog” yarn?
@craftyjenabug4 ай бұрын
Frogging yarn means to undo your stitches. It's called frogging because you "rip it" and that is similar to a frog sound.

In what proportion did you mix Resin A and B? In 2:1 ratio? How much of the mixture did this 1 jar consumed ?? I wish to make such jars and sell them for my daily bread.
@janetnwonderland5 ай бұрын
I wonder if after filling the molds, and before they dry, if hitting with a blow dryer or light touch with a heat gun, will take out some of the air bubbles. I don't know, but could be worth testing.

How do you avoid bubble in the curved part of the mold? Bubbles keep getting trapped when I do it.
@craftyjenabug6 ай бұрын
Those bubbles are difficult to remove. I pour the resin slowly and once I get to that part of the mold, I manipulate the mold a bit to try to get the bubbles to escape. I also use a heat tool or spray isopropyl alcohol to pop bubbles. Hope that helps!

What if you added heat to them, do you think they would have patterns? Another person did a review but both added her “cloud” liquid and heated it. There were areas the paint lifted from the canvas when she did that so she said the paints were good for grandchildren etc. Thank you for the review with just the plain pour paint! I’ve just recently stumbled onto this art form and can’t wait to try it. I purchased the Dollar Tree pour paint in the store a few days ago, they were mostly sold out but I was able to get three colors. Her review scared me, your review excites me! Thanks again, I can’t wait to watch more of YOUR videos!

I haven't tried to add heat to these paints. It might be interesting to use a heat tool to pop any bubbles to create cells. I'm glad you're excited to try them!

O Hayah, our Master, how excellent is Your Name, in all the earth. You Who set Your splendour above the heavens (Psalm 8:1) ! // SHLM & HaB (peace & love). The Name of the Creator is Hayah asher Hayah, as what He told Moshah (Exodus 3:14), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. There is a curse to the G-o-d name (Isaiah 65:11-12), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. All followers of the Messiah are to do the 7 appointed times (Leviticus 23), but no more animal sacrifices, following the Crucifixion of the Messiah. We are now of the order of MLK TSDQ (King, righteous), to Whom ABRaHM tithed. Ask the Messiah to be your personal Savior. He said to him, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). ...for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of Hayah (Romans 3:23). The wages for sin is death but the gift of ALaHYM is Everlasting Life through Messiah Yahushgh our Master (Romans 6:23). That if you confess with your mouth the Master Yahushgh and believe in your heart that ALaHYM raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved (Romans 10:9). He Himself is an Atoning Offering for our sins, and not for ours only but also for all the world (1 John 2:2). The Messiah died on the cross, & Resurrected three days later (presenting Himself as First Fruits to the Father). Please ask Him to be your Savior. He is the ONLY way to Everlasting Life.

I have that same mold! What do you do about the sharp round edge at the bottom? I haven’t figured out what to do about that yet. :(
@craftyjenabug8 ай бұрын
A little sanding around the sharp edge worked well for me. There are also tools for rounding the edges of resin pieces. I've never used them, but I've seen them used in other resin crafting videos.

Thank you for the video! I just found and subscribed to your channel. I make not so “scrappy” scrap baskets when I crochet baby blankets and things for a new family member to colour coordinate a little basket or two for the baby’s bedroom. So I order an extra ball or two of the yarn I am making the baby things with so I can them make a “scrappy”, yet colour coordinated basket. I make a small catch all one and a larger one for keeping on the changing table to keep all the bits and pieces handy but so they do not fall iver onto the floor if knocked accidentally. They seem to go over well as each new expectant family member lets me know what colours they would like the baby blanket and if the room has other colours that can be added to the baskets lol. When you get requests, I take it as a sign that they like it ☺ I just wish my family would slow down a little on the baby making. 14 great nieces and great nephews born in 2023 so far and another 5 to go and each kniws I always make a baby blanket or two for each baby, so most of my crocheting this year has been baby orientated. When I need a break from bigger projects, then I usually use up my scraps making keychains, wristlets, small amigurumi things, bookmarks, Barbie doll rugs, blankets and clothes for the kids, and so on. If there is only tiny amounts, I will use them to make small cone shapes and then use several different coloured cone shapes, sewing one cone’s end shut to use as a tail, and thread the cones together on top of each other to make little fish keychains, sewing on little eyes or adding tiny safety or google eyes. Barrettes, bracelets, reading glasses necklace to keep them close at hand, necklaces and chokers, earrings, wind spinners (great one for using different colours together), and so many more little things for small bits that are left over. I am currently using tiny amounts, of about 2 feet, to make mushroom caps, then use colours I have more lengths of left from ther projects to make the body/stem? Of the mushroom and stuff that (often with the left over snipped bits and pieces that cannot be used to crochet with mixed with my stuffing) before sewing on the mushroom caps. Or I make little flower or heart appliqué and then add a little pair of leaves for the flower, and a contrasting border for the heart, before making a chain (usually about 40-50 chains) ending with either a small leaf, heart or ball at the end of the long chain to make a quick and easy bookmark. They take minutes to make and use up those tiny left over bits of pretty much any colour. And if you sell at craft fairs and markets, they are great sellers that entice other sales, especially at the holidays. I sell them quite cheaply or give them as a freebie, thank you gift if someone has bout a couple of the bigger items.

I just started with the hot glue in molds instead of clay, mostly because they would still be bendable after painting and I can stick them on something that's a different color. Your take on it is about the same as mine 😆

Some of these have turned thin for some reason i dont know i did nothing to them at all and I have been using these alone without doing the instructions on the side, plus I've been using these on some unfinished wood I bought at dollar tree and some at hobby lobby
@craftyjenabug9 ай бұрын
These paints tend to dry thinner than acrylic paint mixed with a pouring medium. If you're unhappy with the way they dried, you could always paint over the wood with white or black paint and repour.

These are acrylic paints with a pouring medium added to them, so they flow more during a paint pour.
