Listening now to the wonderful performance of my favorite Nocturne, i remembered a lot... Chopin dedicated this work to his older sister Ludwika, who then, according to Chopin's will, buried his Heart in a church in Warsaw. There is a church in Warsaw. There's is a wall there Hides the shrine of Humanity - Chopin's Heart. The silence is complete With the beating of this Heart to this day... ...The work was first published 21 years after the composer's death. Sometimes this Nocturne is called a "MEMORY". The work was played by Holocaust survivor Polish pianist Natalya Karp for the commandant of the Nazi concentration camp Amon Goeth... And it saved her life... The piece was also played by Holocaust survivor and celebrated Polish pianist Wladyslaw Szpilman (the central figure of Roman Polanski's film "The Pianist") during the last live broadcast of Polish radio on September 23, 1939, as Warsaw was besieged by the German army. And after the war, they, both surviviors, continued to perform this Nocturne. These are the memories this Great Work of Chopin brought back... MAESTRO JOSHUA BELL, Orchestra and Conductor! Please assept my deep gratitude for the stunning performance of my favorite NOCTURNE!❤

I think this is a beautiful ballet: the costumes, choreography, and casting are just terrific, and Debussy is wonderfully danceable. This is a real modern gem! The famous story really works as a ballet.
