Do you have any tips for the same foiling on freeride foil?

Those descriptions about getting started and advancing throughout the phases of Hydrofoil Windsurfing actions as you were demonstrating the same were excellent and both in perfect timing. You are a good tutor and I'm longing to put them into practice myself.

👍 More good demonstrations and descriptions of the foil gybe which was very clear and in time with the actions, and having owned a Windsurfing school myself I know the benefits of giving that sort of demonstration first.

That was a very clear and precise description of a waterstart and although I'm a long term and experienced Windsurfer both the improvements to the boards and sails have also made actions like that more simple to learn and practice confidently.

Remember to look behind you and downwind before initiating gybe. A fast sailor might be about to overtake you downwind of you. Learn with a smaller sail even if you are sub planing.

best piece of kit ever, it solved all those "you need more downhaul" issues I didnt even know I had. I am Using XT 2.0 for Duotone S-Pace, Loftsail oxygen, and even 20yrs old Simmer Fly which I was thinking to throw away as I was never able to trim it correctly, now with XT I am finaly able to enjoy this sail

Одно и то же в каждом видео, вообще не интересно. Снимите гонку от начала и до конца и не лузеров, а первую десятку, двадцатку. Важны эмоции в МОМЕНТ, а не потом, когда начинают придумывать, героизировать, умничать!

Another tip is, when using slallm gear with bigger sails : always wear vests with 50N buoyance or more

I suggest to adjust the height of the boom at the mast so that the boom can sit on the boards tail. When swimming then you just push the boards tail under the boom and the buoyance of the board pushes the sail out of the water. You only need to control the mast with one hand somit does not flip over

ok so Im learning to waterstart with limited equipment. I got an oldschool 330cm long 60wide slalom board with an arrows sail which is amazing to me considering the 2nd time i figured out how to stay on it and had an awesome ride in medium conditions yesterday. My problem is the board is very unstable and though I practised the movement in head and I think I know how to do it the end of the board sinks so either I put my foot on the side or at the end where the footstraps are it either flips over or the bottom sinks, respectively. The latter just raises the front and the whole board gets out of control. Shall I try to manage to put my foot right where the mastfoot is since theres the center of balance? or shall I move the mastfoot more to the front where the widest the board is? Its almost impossible to balance on it without the straps but the ones which i use to balance on the board are on the farther side so with waterstarting it seems impossible to reach. I tried to describe the situation, I hope you got it. Any help?

1. Biggest wing, smallest sail 2. Flat water strong winds 3. Reduce degrees for gybe 4. Bend legs, move hands backwards 5. Put back foot 6. Close the sail with backhand at the start and release it slowly immediately 7. Lean forward alot 8. Switch feet early. Put former back foot on footstrap 9. Push the sail opposite side of gybe curve 10. Avoid getting backwinded but if you do push backhand

Well it’s a personal thing. As mention here I always put my Backfoot first in the footstraps. Then hook in Then planing Then frontfootstrap. This way it’s safe (no catapult) and cost less energy. Yes, you don’t gone a win slalom races with this technique…. But if I do it the orherway around I can’t get in tot the back footstrap easy. Big feet’s (mt 47). Especially on the 2020 falcon (same as 2019 and 2021). On the 2015 and 2017 falcon it was a more easy
