I wanted to love this guitar so much. While I don't hate it, I hardly ever play it. Just too easy to pick up my tele or SG. No neck dive for me and it sounds great, I just hate the floyd Rose

I have wanted this for a while. The MMX title theme is the most metal 30 seconds the SNES sound chip ever had. If it was any longer, it might burst into flames.

Thanks for the review. The series has been discontinued over a decade ago, and only really sold very small number. Don't really see many of these around. Roope has quite a bit of musical background and discography under his belt. Arguably one of the top guitarist in Finland, also. Outside COB, he got really noticed in the 80's through the finnish thrash metal band, Stone - which was Finland's answer to Megadeth, Metallica, Anthrax and Slayer. Another mention is Sinergy, where he along with Laiho - and a cascade of other successful musician, like Marco Hietala (Nightwish, Tarot), Jesper Strömblad (In Flames, Cyhra), Tommi Lillman (Ajattara, To/Die/For, Lordi), Sharlee D'Angelo (Arch Enemy, Witchery)... Quite a list. Also played in Waltari.

Does it still hold tune? I called about ordering one from Sweetwater and my salesperson told me that it would end up being a headache due to the Floyd Rose being cheaper and made in South Korea. I really want one but I feel that I'll have to spend the extra money to replace the floyd rose with an original.

Great work Brandon! Congratulations man. I ran it through the Klipsch system this morning with a coffee. Well, I had the coffee, the Klipsch just had your music ;) It was very cool to hear the Twilight Zone theme and "Witch Hunt" by Rush in the opening of Wizard's Nog. Not sure that's what you were going for, but that's where it took me :) I like the way you used synths throughout as well. Keep at it!
