We could not hear Dick Vitale’s commentary in Virginia as the game was blacked out on ESPN2 and aired on Raycom local station instead.

I was at this game, what a night it was, the crowd was wild, they gave us all a pom pom when we entered the dome. Earl Campbell was incredible.

So unfair to label this game in a way that dinged Ernie. Wouldn't have even been competitive in this game without him, 160 yards of offense and 2 TDs. I guess the media people missed the fact the defense gave up 36 points (I won't blame the intentional safety by Denver on the defense). Also, if the fumble had not happened and the Browns scored, all that would have done is tied the game with a minute left. Given the defense's inability to little more than let Elway play catch with his receivers all day, it's my thought Denver would have taken the kickoff and been in field goal range in 4 plays

😂😂 refs should have been wearing Duke uniforms. My god even Vitale called Parks throwing Stackhouse to the floor a foul on Duke, Parks was over the back on 6 or 7 occasions. Games called like this one are why fans around the country concluded that Duke was being favored by the refs and media to a ridiculous point. "What makes Duke's defense so tough?" Maryland coach Gary Williams answered, it's 5 guys fouling all the time.

I feel that the majority of people watching this are bronco fans. I know we can't play "woulda coulda shoulda", but if we could, I, a diehard Redskins/Commanders fan, have thought that had the vikes won the NFC Title Game, Cleveland, Denver, or Minnesota would have had their first title. As it stands, my beloved Redskins won Superbowl XXII! Denver eventually won three, Minnesota is still 0-4 in the big dance and Cleveland has yet to go. Have a safe New Year football fans. HTTR!!!

Webb City, Missouri is almost dead smack in the middle of the USA. For a little town of @10,000 people, They win at everything. In 1989 a man named Jerry Kill, Coach Kill, challenged, inspired and motivated a bunch of young men to believe in winning. Their friends believed. The kids parents and friends at work and became believers they could win Before Long the town over saw what it took and became believers they could be winners. It's a culture that all started with KAWC. Kick Ass With Class

I'm a Broncos fan and I was at this game. It was an awesome game. You could hear a pin drop when Castille stripped the ball from Byner. Then it erupted when they signaled Denver ball and K-Meck emphasized it. Mark Jackson was the slowest Amigo, but he was the best when it came to YAC.
