how do u take out the mirror in the first place?

Bought a new drivers side mirror on ebay from Ukraine. Fits perfectly but only has 2 tabs for the defrost, does not have the 3rd plug harness thats glued to the actual mirror. Not sure if mirror defrost will work correctly. Local GM dealer doesn't have the replacement mirror.

Where can you find the mirror replacement with lip connector on back? I either see the glass or the whole assembly on the net.

I have 04 H2, there seems to be fluid in the nirror causing it to fog, do i have to buy a new mirror or is there a way to take it off and clean it?

Wow! Thanks for posting! Can you tell me how to replace the motor now? Or do I have to replace the whole assembly?
