They sure are different today. A script of 10 would last me 2 years but now they won't even give me a pill for my procedures. They act like it's lsd and the nurses steal and replace them for themselves. I really hate this nancy reagan tude. It has to stop.

FAKE STEREO: Unfortunately, this is what they did during the transition to stereo -- there were many recordings that were recorded with two three and 4 tracks for the master and then mixed into the mono release. Now a few years later, the record company execs say, hey there's money to be made by rereleasing our library as "stereo". Reather than get the group back into the studio to re-record the hit as a true stereo recording, they did out the three or four master tracks that typicially use one track for the vocal mono mix and one track for the gutar mix and one for the percussion mix. To get a "stereo" effect for a two track LP or 45 mix, they separated those master tracks onto the Left and Right channels, but that isn't really stereo, it's just multitrack. How nice it would be to hear the vocals across the whole stereo stage, as you would in a REAL stereo recording. Here they are just a mono mix of them coming out of the center channel with no sense of space or depth. lots of the Beatles early work as well the Byrds and many other artists' works were released in this multi-track method without any attempt to do anything but choose which channel to pipe the mono tracks onto. If anyone knows of a true stereo version of this piece with the Searchers, please email CinemaDude at aol Thanks

1966! Remember it well. Almost seems like yesterday, but many decades old. An era of different music, different people, different styles, different values, different country never to return again ever. Glad I lived it like 10's of millions alive then and now.

2024....and I had to give my Guzzy a few of "My Mother's little Helpers" to help her SLEEP & RELAX 😂😂😂😂 I learn to know this Number when I was in my Fourty's by my late Husband and he was pulling my leg when I drank one. I'm turning 64 and I still use the name "My Mother's little Helper. Live LIFE...... to the fullest! Lorenda South Africa

I am told that as a very very small boy I would stand and tap my foot to my uncle's Buddy Holly records - I am 66 years old and still tapping my foot and challenge anybody listening close not to do so!. Many thanks for this!
