Wonderful Conversation with practical tips on how to navigate the corporate world with wisdom, obedience to God's voice and a growing faith. Love the idea of the faith-based employee circle.

This is so encouraging. As a Christian woman beginning to climb the leadership ladder and almost giving up because I feel that cant cope with the politics, this has encouraged me. I can make a difference!

Thanks, great episode. Am in that season where your brother went fot a house ansnsoent time at the beach...from this I ave understood why starting a business thought came...even when i know i am not so enterprenueral....its abt its purpose creating a job for someone who has been praying for one.....am returning to obey that thought...but also pray for an opportunity to what next for me....always thought my self as now transitioning to director roles....i pray he leads me...like he led your brother. . .purpose driven corporate.

Enjoyed hearing this episode. Also a new subscriber. Yay 😁 🎉❤. We need more stories of men and women living out faith in the ordinary everyday of real life. And also this is a good-to-chew-on statement around minute 23:38 - … Growth requires saying "yes" to the work. Also reminds me of the provocative book by David Bahnsen called Full Time in which he talks about the purpose of work for the Christian and how it's not just sacred vs secular but seeing work from a whole, biblical perspective. For the Christian, there’s no separating who we are from what we do when front-facing the world. We actively live out faith whether we realize it or not. We’re not divided beings, rather we’re made whole and complete in Christ. What a gift to be able to share that wholeness with others! Work is another reflection of how we live out our faith while also being transformed by it. Amazing 🤩! Work is a good thing, and it's even more important to do it as unto God. Perhaps even there we are finding that we demonstrate the love of God through the actions in the ordinary everyday of our work and interactions with people.

Pastor Sam is my former pastor at Grant Memorial AME Church in Bronzeville. He is so inspirational and relatable. He continues to be a "shepherd after God's own heart." We have nothing but love for him and his family. All the best to him in this new endeavor.
