Is it dangerous if steam is coming out of the tank cap even when tightly closed? Wil this be solved by cleaning the iron?

You just save me £400 that I don't have 👏🏾🙌🏾 I wasnr getting any steam, even after the usual descaling method. Was always concious about putting vinegar in the generator but worth the risk of I had to buy a new one. Thank you 🙏🏾

If this happens during ironing, take a handful of facial tissue paper and spritz with cold water and dab the shirt until you’ve picked up all the stains. Then go rinse the shirt and wash

Dit heeft gewerkt. Ontkalker of azijn rechtstreeks in de reservoir, en inschakelen. Even later terug stoom. Daarna spoelen.

Great video, but just for clarification fill the tank by one third undiluted vinegar or mix 1:1 or even 2:1 with water

Well, I keep comong back, but something is very wrong here...NO steam should come out from the boiler and it does! The boiler is not fully closed? That's a safety hazard, my goodness! Close it tight!

I would use some proper descalling product, not vinegar...the iron (and your clothes) will smell of it for ages!

Thanks so much for your video, I had not used my iron for the last few months, suddenly, when I needed to use it, it wouldn't steam. I Always used filtered water, I was shocked to see this happened. I tried descaler etc but in the end, I thought I will have to throw it away. Then I saw your video and did exactly as you did, In 10 minutes, I have my iron back with full steam like new!!!

Was you iron still hot? It must be completely cool to open the steam lock. Leave it for the next day, then it should not be a problem...if you still cannot manage, maybe it was too thightly closed...try using some pliers to grab hold of it and gently turn.

Hi am trying to start a home ironing business, I wanna first start out with like 10 flyers and then go from there. Do I have to get the plastic cover for the finished product. Does the customer also know to bring there own hangers? Also if I have like 5 shirts to start with, can I charge each 3 pounds a shirt and take like 4 days to iron them.
@traderweb9366
@traderweb9366 4 жыл бұрын
You do not need plastic covers, although they will look more professional. We would recommend providing hangers initially, which customer will normally return with the next lot of ironing. A two to three day turnaround time is normally acceptable.
