I got an A6 take a note a few months ago to try. The A6 grid is smaller than the A5. The size of the A6 is ideal but i dislike how small the grid size is
@plannedbyjysla29 күн бұрын
Ah I find it so interesting that the grid size always seems to be different between different planner sizes! Same thing with the stalogy (except the grid size is bigger with the smaller size 😳).

Great chatty video, thanks for sharing your successes as well as the struggle. I could never have that many planners, but I think it's great that we can all find our own thing! Oh, idea: Just print a lined paper to use in the Muji notebook, that makes spacing and straight line writing easier.
@plannedbyjyslaАй бұрын
Thank you so much for the lovely comment!! And gosh yes of course! I had a printed lined page in my other journals and totally forgot that was an option so thank you!!
@annettefertitta6868Ай бұрын
As one who compartmentalizes, no apologies necessary- it’s whatever works for us in that season of our lives. I once needed an A5 or happy planner classic to juggle work, kids, etc. now I am in love with B6 (home) and TN common planner (work) and weeks size for health journal. Having said that I’m recently back in an A5 for memory keeping

@plannedbyjyslaАй бұрын
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate that 🥺 It sounds like your brain likes to compartmentalise like mine haha - I need separate journals for separate things! It just makes way more sense to me.

- crying at all the mentions 🥹😭 - yesssss coaching call mentions on main !! 👏🏼 - miscommunication trope is the worst trope to ever exist I said what I said - hmm, I think I'm the same in that I sometimes prefer the quiet and sometimes prefer the music in the background??? totally mood based
@plannedbyjyslaАй бұрын
Hate hate hate miscommunication tropes so much!!! It's such a cheap way to manufacture conflict ugh. And sometimes it's realistic but I also don't want to read about it 😂

- I really love how you keep most of your process for these. as you know, I'm not very future oriented and I've been working really hard to get better at breaking down goals into task and assign it to a week. seeing you go through it every month really helps my brain start figuring out how I can implement some of your tactics into my own systems - obsessed with you - SO EXCITED for another unplanned podcast interview !!! - the more I see your insert, the more I'm excited to get mine and use it haha - seeing your sticker book gives me a boost of creative induced serotonin - I think the 1 week is fine but also I will watch any video you create and any length. give me the longer video or give me the extra video I want it all. ILL BE THE ONE PERSON
@plannedbyjyslaАй бұрын
I AM OBSESSED WITH YOU I am so grateful for your comment and thoughts UGH thank you for being that one person crying ILY 😭 Sometimes I feel like it's super boring to see the same thing every month so this makes me feel so glad I keep it in mostly real-time 🥺 Funny cause your sticker book gives me a hit everytime too!!!

I could relate to when you said you write too much. I grew up writing journals in long form. Think of personal essays and deep dive into my feelings and emotions. I've also gone into documenting every single thing I did for the day. So trying to journal in bullet points and less chatty entries is a challenge for me too. I've got so many backlogs that I just gave up and relied on photos to remind me what I did. But I'm trying to change that too.
@plannedbyjysla2 ай бұрын
Ahh yes EXACTLY. We are kindred spirits! I definitely love and prefer long form writing so it is a challenge balancing where to dive deeper and where to keep it short. It’s hard when you just love the process of writing - but unfortunately yes, not sustainable when you end up with too much backlogging 😢 Thanks so much for sharing, and here’s to our journey to (occasional) brevity haha ❤️

About the grid size: hobonichis and like planners (sterling ink, etc) are 3.7 mm grid. Only stalogy b6 and a6 use the 5mm grid. The A5 stalogy uses 3.7-4mm grid. I think lots of people are familiar. For some reason, when you Google it, it says the A5 Stalogy has a 5mm grid but it's just not true.
@plannedbyjysla2 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for the information!! My friend that uses Hobonichi just told me the same thing - I had no idea, I’ve clearly never used those notebooks before and I wish the Stalogy B6 had a smaller grid now! 😅
