I Honestly felt bad for Dale here- nobody was taking his side and I get where he’s coming from but at the time I thought the rest of em were right- I mean the dude they had was like “Please- we can trade with you or something and work something out bla, bla, bla” then once Carl showed himself to him he certainly changed his tune quick to “if you let me go and come back with me- we can take good care of you” and I think we all knew what he meant-

People like Dale have good intentions but they are the kind of people who let evil arise. The world is cruel and always has been. Dale was weak and the time proved his way of thinking was wrong.

Dale has valid points but ever since the zombie apocalypse, things changed drastically and so did people. You can’t really truly trust anyone. Rick should have just executed Randall when he got his leg impaled, bringing him back to the farm was stupid.

Amazing character, amazing scene. Once they decided to go against Dale and through with the murder, the groups downfall and spiral into insanity began.

He was acting so well here because he was thinking of Frank Darabont being fired. He was voicing his opinion on the matter through this scene and I know it.

As a fan since Sister Location came out, im surprised i got 64 right. I got Freddy Frostbear and the scooping room right for the bonus question :P

Dale may have been wrong considering that new world didn't have the same civilized rules of before but I do admire his persistence on keeping his dignity intact than getting his mind and heart corrupted by the mere desire of survive at all cost

I love Dale , but it’s foolish to assume you can keep the same mindset of pre apocalypse into post apocalypse. You have to accept things are gonna change and that includes how you deal with other people.

Dale would have been a great leader later on in the show. He had the values Rick gained from carls death clear back at the beginning.

Compare this scene to the slop that we get in the modern era of the show.

Maggie, Daryl and Carol are the only 3 here from the original group. Think of all the people they’ve lost. They’ve suffered more than anyone. And I cannot wait to see Rick and Daryl reunite. Hopefully they do it in the ones who live.

I think that what Dale said was right for this time right here. The disease was still new and people weren’t that far gone. But as time went we saw that if you let people who wronged you live they were likely to come back. Till this day I don’t know how it would have even if they let him live, but I do think Dale’s speech followed them throughout the seasons. But he needed to realize that other people weren’t living by his same morals.

Dale was gonna die sooner or later becuase of his strong sense of morality . Killing Randal was the only option . The world is dead so live by the dead’s rules

Dale was an idiot here. Yea it sucks but the choice was clear. Randall would’ve told his group where he was and those guys would’ve came and took everyone out. Shane was right about it from the start. It wasn’t worth the risk of everyone’s life
