GoodMorning & thank you! I’m not sure if any more dirt would be attracted than without the gel, but this isn’t a style that’s left in for a very long time. There’s little to no build up when taking them down. You could always opt for no gel, but the braids wouldn’t be as sleek & wouldn’t last. But it’s all based on your preference of course!

Maintenance video!!!! I’m a guy and I usually leave my hair in two strand twists. How do you wash them and such without your hair tending to lock or completely destroying the style???
