We need a petition to bring back that old chime before the train starts moving

Boston born I've been riding the trains since 1962, especially at park street station where the green lines run through.

I used to park there for free and ride the train to Tandy Center to walk or bus to Federal Building. No more Tandy and no more train. Shame.

Does the trolley still run? It looks to be part of a railroad museum.

Are Drake and Allentown considered designated Pittsburgh neighborhoods? I ask because I don't remember them as such and my colored maps are buried somewhere on my phone or iPad

And now there is human S..T on the seats walk ways, drug users shooting up, gangs asulting innocent tax payers and and killing at will. And what does our mayor and council do. They spend money we don't have to build more LRT and expand transit that no one wants to use because it's just too dangerous now. Time to kick out the mayor and council and get people in there that know how to run a city and keep to a budget instead of going after tax payers for their pet projects.

Jack, thank you so much for this video. It is absolutely amazing the memories of the old Drake line. By the time I was old enough to ride it by myself it was 1999 and they were getting ready to close it down but thankfully I was able to take a ride on an actual Pittsburgh pcc before they were retired from service in September 1999 but the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum is absolutely amazing I am hoping to make a trip down there this spring or summer and hopefully be able to take a ride on Pittsburgh railways car 1711

Does anyone remember the bathrooms of the Tandy Center? The walls were mirrors from floor to ceiling so you would be able to see like a thousand reflections of you 😂😂 it was like a funhouse

I was born and raised in Hood County. We would come to Fort Worth once a year to shop at Leonard's. I had Joined the Corp before it became the Tandy Center. Like others here, i have the fondest of memories of riding the train and it will forever be etched in my mind the sight and smells of getting off the train after passing through the tunnel. The popcorn and candy and the colors. It seemed like so far from our Ranch back in Acton. Thank you so much for shearing this video. Maybe someone that reads this can answer a question for me. I remember all the candy on display just as clear as if it were yesterday. Am I right in my thinking that it was a Penny a pound?

Wondering if anyone could upload a video of the old Clareview/Belvedere stations before their renovations. There aren’t any uploaded online.

While I think the newer cars are more advanced and therefore obviously better. I always liked the older styled cars more. They kinda resemble the ETS Busses in a sense and its so unique :) I VERY VERY rarely ever see those types of cars anymore its always the newer cars that are used :/

That sad old J line coach, the last one to be modernized. The F street car in this video looks decidedly modernized. Did they switch that up at some point to bring back the more classic ones?

In South Philadelphia this trolly ran north on 11th Street and South on 12th Street, I lived on 9th Street and rode it often during the 60’s & 70’s. I wish SEPTA would bring this back as a tourist attraction.

My parents, older sister, and I used to go downtown to Leonard's, park in the outer lots, and ride the subway to the basement entrance. Later, years after Tandy Center replaced the old department store, I would, as a juror, park in the outer lots, and ride the subway to the Tandy Center, and have breakfast in the food court before reporting to the Justice Center across the street. Jury Services' partnership with the Tandy Center to accommodate us was much appreciated, and was a great part of the experience. Y'all are missed!

Those look very similar to the current green line trains. Still running them? And I can see the red line trains are the same, knew those were super old
