The first story terrified me. My mother was allergic to penicillin and when sick required Bactrin ( a sulpha drug). I had also been prescribed this too for bladder infections. I was never warned. Even now when I checked Bactrim, those cases aren't listed in the side effects. They instead blame it on people with other illnesses. Liver, kidney, thyroid and a couple others. But nothing about young people under 20! The second case I knew what was wrong from just Rose's symptoms. I never used tampons because of Toxic shock syndrome. My personal opinion is that tampons stopped and held what was meant to be expelled from a woman's body. I had surgeries in the high teens for female issues already. I wasn't taken a risk for vanity.

I couldn’t imagine getting beat the way he did and laying in agonizing pain for however many hours then thinking you’re saved only to be rolled over and see that it’s the same people who beat you in the first place 😔

I think that scientists run this country as they know how to change the environmental and how to manipulate the diseases, ex: covid as it was a man made virus

That poor poor man, what a horrid way to die he did nothing to deserve this. My heart goes out to his memory and his family. Vicious people. Why do horrid people hurt innocent decent people on a daily basis.

It’s kinda ironic how environmentalists are generally against nuclear power (fission), but would do fusion in a heartbeat. Nuclear power is the cleanest form of energy we currently have. Diversified with renewables (wind, hydro, solar) we could solve the whole issue of coal and natural gas emissions.

It's ALWAYS a pleasure to hear new stories. I feel that @MrBallen is averaging 1 new live, every Sunday & 1 or 2 new stories on the podcast channels. What ever are we, as loyal fans of the "Strange, dark & mysterious, told in story format" ever going to do with ourselves, should #MrBallen lose his ability(ies) to narrate, to us, his gift of story-telling?! Laryngitis is temporary, but, some aspects are terminal. I've begun the worrying process, LONG before life intervenes, so that I have a strong "Plan B"!! 😅

Dude. (*Spoiler alert*). The original classic murder-swap movie was Hitchcock’s Strangers on a Train. Throw Mama From the Train is kind of like Strangers on a Train reimagined as a comedy.

What is with the random and bad music stuck into random places in the story. It’s worse than the bad sound effects and random silence. Mr Ballens story telling is the star and all this distracts from that. Just let Mr B shine and be the star he is.
