I think the new m5 is is fine but they should reduce the weight or increase the v8 power. but honestly I would still take the e60 m5 over this.

We own a bmw e60 2005 525i and it's valued in Egypt 14000$. Here in Egypt cars are very expensive like an m5 e60 is about 40k to 50k if you even find it.

You should also send in an oil sample to blackstone labs to see the health of your engine considering its pretty high km's to see the condition of the rod bearings and such and health of the engine!

I have a 2007 M6 e64. I bought it new. It has never burned oil, but it will push that 1st half quart out almost immediately. It reminds me of an airplane I had once with a lycoming 540. You just learned to run it a quart low because that 1st quart was gone at takeoff.

I still love my Pre-LCI M5 and I'm keeping it. I did upgrade to some later model bits in my S85 during maintenance works though, like revised oil squirters, timing chain runners, cam sprockets... etc

Yes sir, I feel your pain. I had just pickup up my e39 M5 from getting a custom exhaust and went to stop by a friends and it started to sprinkle after taking him for a quick spin I headed 30 mins home turned out to be a torrential down pour. I vetted to never again drive it in rain let alone let it get wet. Fortunately the underbelly pans kept almost all water and debris out of the engine compartment that was also detailed. Looking forward to more great content. 😎🤜🏽🤛🏽😎
