Ever since I began appreciating female vocalists, Linda R. was a huge part of my listener’s life, from her earlier albums to the throw back album when she went back in time to a different musical sensibility, to this album, a real classic! What a musical journey she made! I recently saw her highlighted on Fil Henley’s ‘Wings of Pegasus’ (another classic act, imo) singing a duet with Neville Mariner. Also I saw her in a fairly recent interview and it broke my heart. I guess I foolishly convinced myself that she would never grow old 😢. I don’t think she married or had children either. Great lady & wonderful vocalist!

It may seem strange, but when I hear this song I can't help but think of my older brother, God rest his soul, it was one of his favorites. He loved this song. He's been gone 18 years now in 2024. It is a beautiful song sung by a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice. Thanks for the memory.
