I was too caught up in viewing it as an adaptation. It's not really a good representation of the novel, and for some reason I got bent out of shape over that. And I thought it was boring at the time, probably because I was watching the Final Cut, which feels slower without the narration. I'm over those complaints nowadays.

@@recognizerarcade I'm 2 years late to the party but I want a way in.. I know you said you're over your complaints about the original Blade Runner, but IF you would run into similar situations in the future you could try to look at it from a different angle. I loved the first Starship Troopers movie but I also knew that the book was different, so I went into it on that premise and I got to enjoy both the film and the book for their differences. Same goes for Conan.. I love the Arnold movies, but I also love Robert E Howards original stories, or the Marvel/Dark Horse comics... even the Jason Momoa movie! I like all of them because they are in some way or another Conan, and I like them for their differences :)

I've seen the price increasing here in the states as well. Even the most common variants are marked up and relatively hard to find, at least in physical stores. Seems like Titan and Alcon have a hit on their hands.

My first time watching Blade Runner took me about three days. It was the Final Cut and for whatever reason I just couldn't get into it. Luckily that changed!

+Super Hans It even took me a few listens to get used to it. It's one of those things that just seemed to happen regardless of my intent, and I went with it. Thanks for the feedback!
