Would this be a good bag for a month long moped trip? Or would it be better to get something heavier like a mil-tec bivy bag? Can this replace sleeping in a tent and just sleep out in the open? I am used to sleeping in a little rain with no bivy bag, just sleeping bag.
@BURNWOODBUSHCRAFTАй бұрын
This bivy is best for emergency use only in cold temps. The US Army Gortex bivy (surplus) is an excellent option for staying dry and durability

Hand wash with a tiny amount of laundry detergent. Rinse well and don't wring the water out. Hang to drip and dry

Good for y’all….. and good for staying on the trail. People sometimes think it’s safe to venture “off trail”…. Not me. We saw a lady fall on the Pinnacle Trail at Crowders Mountain about 10 years ago… she did not survive. She was posing with her husband for their daughter to take a picture when she tripped and fell over the edge. It was terrible. When you get as old as me, the steps up are definitely easier than the steps down… my knees hurt just watching y’all!!!! 🤣😂🤣

Oh man that's horrible. I have a thing about cliff edges. I'm always and keep everyone away from them. Those steps down sucked!
