Hey bro what you have recited is true. There is a temple dedicated to this story in Andhra pradesh, sarpavaram kakinada. After releasing the effects of maya, Narada was in great pain, he asks a sage about his misesble state, The sage tells him about his previous life and past mistakes, to repent for his deeds he was told to take a dip in the river with his left arm up. Afterwards narad took his original form, as a symbol of his mistake, reminding him of his egoistic behaviour his left arm was left as womens hand. You can see the pictures of idols if you browse. By the way the temple name is "Bavannarayana Swami Tempe, Sarpavaram". Hope this helps😊
