Zen gcu and gimbal needs the camera to be fully connected and balanced in order to initialize properly. Any unbalance or lack of camera DOES lead to erratic or unpredictable initialization issues. If all is connected, cables are good, camera and gimbal are balance, yet still the unit does not initialize, than the gimbal and gcu need be replaced.

The fire burns really fast and really hot. I suppose if you had welder's gloves on you could try that, but the smoke is also very corrosive and toxic, so I think in general it's not easy at all to rescue an aircraft from a lipo fire.

Easiest ways to lose $1000.00 in an instant: 1. Lipo or ESC fire on your RC helicopter. 2. Flying your helicopter over water and losing it in the water. 3. Crash from high altitude. 4. Helicopter gets stuck at the top of a super tall tree, and it begins to rain. This helicopter in the video is a total loss. Hope you had comprehensive coverage that included fire damages! Kidding.

You are partially correct yes. In unmanned system language it means sensing the temperature of each motor and adjusting/stabilizing aircraft collective rpm to maintain a safe operation range. Depending on load and flight duration, larger multirotor vehicles benefit from this safe-guard preventing in flight damage.

The belt drive system reduces vibration at the motor and allows for quite and optimum deceleration/acceleration behavior not seen in direct drive system so far.
