It's great that you raised the caterpillars! That must have been an exciting experience! :) In my case, only one of three moths managed to hatch. There can be many reasons for this. I carefully cut open the cocoons. One pupae did not develop properly. The other one looked dried out, even though I regularly misted the cocoons with water.

Yes that's exactly the right color! 😃 I was so surprised when I discovered the blue caterpillars. The color shows up in the last larval stage and I didn't even know that this color was present in the eggs I ordered! 😄

They really are! 🤗 If I am not mistaken, the moth on the right was a male. The left one is definitely a female, recognizable by the large abdomen!
