Two rainstorms will also easily stun him. Usually gunfire won't work. When he glows purple to attack his ranged shield drops. You can airtrick into rainstorm for some safe stun damage.

Tbh , fighting Riots in the air is boring. It’s too safe. At this point, I love to fight them on the ground with Royal Guard and melee combos. Riots has relatively low health even in DMD, so constant royal releases is viable to finish them.

I wouldn't want to do that with any more than 2 riots in the mix. They are so hard to watch that I get easily hit by the one in the back because I didn't notice that it started his long ass windup 3 seconds ago.

It's doable man. You get used to the patterns once they are in the crouching mode. They only have 2-3 attacks afterwards@@salsamancer

Thanks, just practice and build your muscle memory. I still mess it up sometimes. It's important to remember that DT JC is a bit faster so there should be less time between your releases.

luckily i still get notifs from this channel but I barely respond. DT means devil trigger. Enemies on Dante Must Die activate DT (the purple aura) after taking a certain amount of damage, they gain extra damage, health and they are much harder to stun/launch.

I don't really like beowulf much. It feels kinda slow for me a lacks air combinations of Agni & Rudra, speed of a cerberus or a crowd control of a nevan. It just has a tonn of damage that killa demons faster, but it also kills a fun of long combos

you get so much respect from me just for playing on turbo mode. Also your gunslinger playstyle deeply contrasts the way how i use vergil in this game 😂. I always wanted to record gunslinger gameplay but I only have level 3 on the ps3 version and not ps4.

Not sure if there's even a category for No Saves Pro S+. Everyone is doing Any% with glitches at the moment. I've only seen one other runner finish Pro S+ No Saves (WOLFDNC) on PC so it's possible that this is the first console clear. Please correct me if I'm wrong! :) First of all, since this is on PS4, I could not record footage longer than 1hr so I still had to edit and compile the vids together but this was still done in a single segment (no saves on pro is automatically single segment anyway). For the run itself, it was pretty brutal. No Saves means you cannot reload/restart any encounter so if you mess up, you need to go with whatever happens and try to make the best out of the situation. If you die, that's it, you repeat the entire game. If your game crashes, tough luck, you repeat the entire game. My clear time was quite slow but I was really just focusing on beating the challenge in the first place. I'm sure more skilled players will easily beat my time if S+ Pro No Saves becomes a thing. I MIGHT attempt this again and get a better time. I messed up quite a bit especially in Chapters 10, 13 and 14. I also opted to use a rocket on Salazar and not Verdugo cos I was worried about missing the egg toss LOL. Not using a rocket on Verdugo wasted a lot of time but again, my goal was just to beat the game. Not worth it man, too easy to mess up and lose so much of your HP. Better to wait for openings as he jumps up or down between platforms as what I did here. :) Honestly Krauser is super hard on Pro mode. Hes definitely someone you wanna save before fighting and after if you can.

my biggest issue with the game are grabs not being duckable consistently and knife parry not coming out frame 1, these are most apparent against mutated krauser

Great job dude this type of run is miserable. This same run took me 15 hours but it was my first play through. No bonus weapons. All from scratch on a new save. Yet to see any other youtuber do this they all use their noob infinite ammo guns and ng+ saves.

@@Bombchubowling 4:38 is actually quite slow hehe a lot of better strategies have been discovered now which should lower the time even further. :) Took a few tries for each chapter but I'd say the hardest ones were chapter 7, 10 and 14.
